+ Show Spoiler + I didn't think it was bad. Yeah a bit rushed, but I think everyone got a bit of screentime and it worked. Keima got his ending, Elsea got hers, and it ends on a happy note that's not too forced. Chihiro was always the girl that made him work the hardest, partially because she's not the game heroine type, and partially because she liked him without him doing anything. It makes sense that she's the one he actually has feelings for. Overall, the final arc felt kinda pointless other than to have Keima give Tenri the letter and set up Dokuro as his teacher, but I think the ending worked out quite well for the series. Sad to see it go, but if this is the way it is to end, I have no regrets about it. | ||

It's just sad that I really enjoyed the manga a lot and the last 100 chapters or so were all just boring and / or bullshit... | ||

It's still pretty amusing how the series was originally billed as a harem parody, but somewhere down the line, all direction was lost, and it ended up becoming the very thing it was trying to parody. I remember being excited for the Goddess arc because it was a big upset to the usual formula the manga had followed thus far. But as it turns out, the mangaka has no idea how to pace a story, or even write well - everything from the Goddess arc onwards was pretty boring overall. The series would've benefited greatly had it ended after the Goddess arc. This whole time travel bit did absolutely nothing for the plot, as everything that was addressed there was either deus ex'd or not addressed at all. The Elsie and Dokuro stuff in particular felt like it was just shoved in for the hell of it. | ||

I agree that the time travel arc was pretty pointless. I think it was trying to set up some stuff that got cut, but even then it outlived my interest in it. Keima was much more interesting during the Goddesses arc, he only had a couple decent scenes in the last one. But the ending was good for me. Mostly because + Show Spoiler + Chihiro was one of my top girls, and I thought their romance made the most sense anyway. | ||
