Well since I haven't played any of the VNs or anything I watched it because it was the only way to gain more information about the universe (I forgot if there is any other kind of media.) besides the Fate/Kalied or w/e it is that seems similar to what FMP F was. If I could find a way to reasonably get a hold of the VNs I probably would.

F/SN (and Tsukihime) VN is fully translated and very easy to find

Thank god that's not the case because as bad as an entire vol about nothing but Akatsuki might or might not be, the same thing about Minori would have been death.

yes, I agree. She is very intelligent but my comment wasn't about that. It was more along the lines of, she gets compared to Shiroe too much and while I can understand why, seeing things from her perspective will have a lot of similarities to Shiroe or someting like that.
