I just can't watch it... I tried it like 2 or 3 times but had to drop it all the times because it just looks so bad... Like I don't mind if stuff looks "bad" in an interesting way but One Piece is just not watchable for me. It's not just one character either, it's literally every single one, I just can't [stand] that design

Nah Dragonball is no problem at all and it was pretty awesome when I was still a kid. I'd probably have a bad time trying to watch it now if I hadn't watched it in my childhood but that's because of 20 episodes screaming without anything happening and not the art.
It's not just emnjayish "old animes artwork suck", it's really just OnePiece for some reason. I even tried reading it but you end up with the same stuff:

How is Dragonball art ok, but not One Piece? Both look like stylized cartoons, One Piece is fairly reminiscent of DB art, so I'm not sure what the problem is

It's just way overdone for me, in every single aspect possible.
You have a tall, thin guy? Great, he's 3 meters tall and as thin as my wrist.
That kind of thing and it's really with pretty much everything the manga/anime has. The faces are probably the worst for me.
I know it's supposed to be funny that way but it's just way to extreme for me, which is odd because I'm someone who likes crazy shit for crazys sake. I mean I've got kore ha zombie desu ka and nyaruko in my list and rated them decently but idk. I know OP is supposedly really, really good but I can't get myself to watch it.

Every single aspect? What about this guy? Or maybe this guy? Or this guy or this guy? And then you have characters who are basically mirrors of IRL Japanese actors like this guy and this guy. Are they way too overdone?

I wouldn't mind the 1st and the 4th guy you linked me but the green hair kind of ticks me off. The 4th guy, the one with the cigar and green hair, is probably the only one that wouldn't make me cringe. To be honest, he actually looks kind of good if you ignore the cigars on his chest/arm

So the people who are almost 1:1 mirrors of real life actors piss you off, normal people piss you off, and people who look like pirates piss you off. What if they had K-On googly eyes and no noses, would they be better then?

actually the googly eyes is the one thing that pisses me off the most about K-on and anything from Kyoani. It's the same eyes in every fricking anime they make. chuu2, kyoukainokanata, K-on! and so on
