6.) A ton of people... I was able to pick out Audrey and Banager next to the Zaku's leg, and Puru/Haman/Judau/Puru2 below the Gundam. There are a ton more here, I just can't make much more of them out.

8.) Char and Lalah (0079)(Char even had a Newtype flash sound lol)

Good thing they didn't kill off more students or I would've been angry! Also, Kal-el finally understands what his mom told him and we see him get together or closer with Claire which was nice to see Hope we find more information about their ally in the next episode and more action packed! :D

Suddenly Kal becomes an ace. Ignacio continues to be some super marksman. Enemy pilots continue to be incompetent except when they need to create tension.

And, of course, the magic finally makes its appearance because of the power of loooove and saves the day. I knew it was coming because the foreshadowing was so blatant, but actually seeing it happen just made it worse.

Fucking goddamnit.

I will say though, it was pretty amusing seeing the ship take something like 20+ torpedo hits and somehow not blow up spontaneously. I also wonder how it landed on the water without sinking.

At least the wing rock at the end was nice. Another small detail showing that the author has a surprisingly detailed knowledge of aviation.

So fighting's over. Next ep is going to be some longwinded explanation about the history of this other country wherein we learn that Claire is some long lost heiress or descendent or whatever. And then there will be a bittersweet goodbye between the two because Claire has to leave for some reason. And then they'll go flying one more time because of that promise. Scenes of the remaining cast members smiling and/or tearfully waving goodbye optional.

Hina's father is not actually her father? lol. Seen this happen in so many different animes/movies etc... I guess it's one of those things that's overdone but will have help her eventually change sides so I can't complain. It's a good thing that they stole the coupling valiancers although I doubt they'll end up using them to the extent of Aoba and Dio likely will be quite a bit of time to even get the whole coupling going with trained pilots and such. Being able to see each other's memories makes me wonder what Dio discovered(guess he believes him now lol). All in all, one of the more exciting episodes but I would've liked it if Hina ditched Zogilia right then and there

lol ya, the ace part came out of nowhere. We did see Ignacio be an amazing shooter in the previous episode or maybe one before. It wasn't hinted at from what I recall but it could be his secret.

Power of love lol. I would say the animation could've been better but expected it will happen so at least we weren't proven wrong lol. I guess she wasn't able to use it because she felt guilty and him telling her to live removed those restraints. Can't say much about the ship though I doubt realism is the major point of the show like most animes.

Well, the previews didn't seem to indicate anything about her leaving from what I saw. Hope that's not the case but who knows.
