EDIT: Yeah when I started the manga and realised how many shit fillers there were for FT I was pretty annoyed too. But then I caught up with the manga and got bored waiting.
Now I can't do more than 6-8 episodes before switching to another show for a breather, unless it's something brainlessly funny like Baka to Test or SYD.
EDIT2: Noragami ep4: Hiyori might just be there for flavour, but it sure is good. Things seem to be getting interesting with a little world-building tacked on at the end but I get the feeling I shouldn't expect much.
On the other hand the I like the new singer supercell is using for this ED. Not quite Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari level, but pretty decent nonetheless. Hiyori in the ED reminds me of Ema Sakura in Sayonara Memories as well.
I thought i was the only one who liked Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari. I know this is not the jap music dicussion thread but man i gotta say i normally listen to jap songs and get impressed sometimes and sometimes i don't but after listening to Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari that shit was banana's in my head for a very long time and is my favorite song for 2013 and i'm not even japanese nor do i understand nihonggo(even though it was not sang by Yanagi by 2013 but it was the first time i heard it so whatever). I don't quite like supercell but the time Yanagi was the singer it seems like all her songs in supercell was pretty good especially the bakemonogatari ending.
what? most people liked that song. decent number of Yanagi Nagi fans here too.

I just did the 1st 15 episodes of Strike the Blood in 2 days.
IMO StB is pretty brainless and fuelled by the girls. It's like Raildex but done better in every way. No speeches, no headcrab, better girls.
Better girls than Misaka? You are making a pretty big claim here.
i just finished Monogatari s2 ! i will give my review of the series but it's 12:30 am here, i still have class @7 and i am gonna donate blood tomorrow(hope it doesn't hurt as much as i am thinking about it) i will put it here some other time.
Well i was disappointed how the Nadeko Medusa problem was solved but i liked that Kaiki guy already why does he have to die ? but at least he was happy with his life at the end or at least he thought so.

was Anticlimactic and Symbolic
That was one of the first times I was actually completely satisfied by no fight scene. Everything about that ending was perfect, and put Sengoku above a few other characters for me. Usually you see Arararararararagi bring out the best dialogue from the rest, but Kaiki Nadeko was really entertaining.

really ? well that makes me happy . glad to know there are a lot of fanboys/girls out here in TL who share the same sentiment as well.
Not that they hated Yanagi when i introduced it to my friends but i guess i can understand them since only a few of them would listen to jap songs but most of them were not "enchanted" as what happened to me when i listened to that song.
Well i gotta thank bakemonogatari that i my playlist is now full of Yanagi/supercell

Watch a bit of Index 1 before Railguns, probably up to Laura, she should be in 1, hopefully. After that give no fucks and just put up with whatever you seem likely to tolerate.

Nise was like the last bit of fighting scenes in the series. I don't recall anything like that afterwards.

I'll rephrase and say better girls in general. Misaka > Yukina as an overall character but her interactions with Touma are almost godawfully painful. And that's mostly Touma's fault.
Go with broadcast order to avoid spoiling Index I -> Railgun -> Index II -> Railgun S. That said I kind of regret watching Raildex to begin with. Railgun S took a lot out of me to keep going to the end.
I'm more of a supercell fan than Yannagi Nagi. I mean I enjoyed some of her solo stuff but they're all just the same, whereas supercell era Nagi or Nagi era supercell had a bit of this and that.

what a terrible mistake that was.
I also watched a ton of Fairy Tail on netflix over the holidays. It really is a cool Universe, I liked it so much I started to read the Manga. I also started watching Legend of Legendary Heroes on netflix. It is a fantasy anime with magic and kind of this medieval European feel. I have liked it a lot, it can be very dark at times, and light hearted the next. I wish Netflix would add some new Mech anime, it's my favorite.

doesnt matter too much, they tend to explain most things.
i hated index so ive only seen like 2 eps, but found railgun very enjoyable and didnt miss much by not having seen index.
but im pretty sure the standard order is index 1>railgun>index 2>railgun s (apparently theres a movie too?)
Broadcast order is fine, but honestly not missing much from not watching Index if you don't want to see Touma preaching while punching people. So if you just want random girls there is the option of just watching railgun. I liked Laura but sadly series never really turn spotlight to her, oh well.
Movies are generally timeless, idk what characters showed up in it except Misaka and Index+cigarette. Probably not important anyway.

DenYuuDen 1st part is basically nothing, lol, but at least the anime axed much of the pointless dangos from source and it kind of pieced together into something. Author basically wrote nothing for like 12 vols. DDYD isn't closed to finishing yet and doubt that'd get an anime. Oh well.

Yawooot. Almost every bloody person does.
For me it's one of the absolutely best anime EDs ever. Nagi is pure love and that song is just magical. So are a significant number of her songs though, that's why I enjoy listening to her so much.

I thought that you were being an ironic hipster at first. I don't think I've ever met someone that didn't like that song ._.
If you haven't already, you should get the full album, every song is good and has Yanagi Nagi on vocals :3 And of course get her other albums!

Some guy told me the author always has super sad endings with lots of main character deaths. I haven't looked it over fully since they are still raw and there are over 100 pages but all I care about is that it all turned out all right.
If the author had left it the way it was I would have flown to Japan and punched him in the face.

It was an incredibly tame ending for Suu. Nothing like his previous works. I really disliked the ending, it made it feel like the last arc was pointless, especially since nothing was resolved and nymph still has her bomb-collar.
