Are we arguing different things? When I say Anohana's drama is high school level I am talking only about the conflicts between the characters, which is boils down to a set of love triangles and people growing apart since the death ended up making everyone drift away from each other before they resolved anything.
When I was using "good" and "bad" I was more talking about tone. + Show Spoiler +You don't have people trying to commit suicide in Anohana. The issues between characters in Colorful were greater things to overcome then the slights that the Anohana cast were throwing at each other. Sure they sat around talking about it but nothing there was REALLY horrible. unforgivable stuff. Colorful on the other hand touched on things that a lot of people wouldn't forgive.
I think we have been arguing different things and in all, like I said I didn't think there were massive gaps between the two in whatever we have been arguing. Maybe I just articulated my thoughts wrong on that initial post.

I've decided that I am not going to watch HxH on a weekly basis anymore. At this point it's probably just better to just let it pile up and watch it all in one go.

I'm assuming they're just gonna end it at the latest completed arc like they did with the original anime (or end it after this arc). I certainly hope they don't have an anime original ending because... I'm hoping for more OVAs and stuff if the manga ever gets places.
