Can't wait for Takamura's fight. :D + Show Spoiler +When they started playing Weight of my Pride during the first ep and then it builds up to him nailing Sawamura I was soooo psyched, haha. Favorite sports anime ever.
That scene was hella epic. I knew what was coming and it still gave me shivers.
(Might wanna spoil that btw just in case some people never read the manga.)

Haha, true enough. From what I've seen most of the people following it are the manga fans so sometimes I forget.

Just decided to rewatch Darker than Black.
Really liked it the first time, hope nostalgia holds up

Gargantia for best animation, really? There were shows with a lot better animation last year, Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta is one example.

School Days will test that theory. that it will I guess? lol. I don't see anything wrong with something being interesting. Each anime provides a different experience due to the story and characters imo Yes but some are extremely depressing (Elfen Lied, well the manga at least but the anime besides the ending is pretty fucking depressing) or in the case of SD just fucked up. well, I don't think they are mutually exclusive as in I think you can have an interesting and depressing anime like Elfen Lied(haven't watched it or heard of it tbh). Some animes aim for that experience though. Little Busters had an emotional rollercoaster if you've watched it(not sure if you have) but it's understandable and gets you to appreciate the sacrifices that were made. I'm becoming even more curious how SD is fucked up lol. Elfen Lied is just senseless death and depraved acts all around. If you want to see gore I would direct you to EL. hmm I may pass on that lol. I don't mind the occasional sad anime or depressing one but EL sounds like it goes over the top and doesn't sound like my type of anime
I think you might like it. Its not THAT over the top and it takes itself seriously(lol). I enjoyed it back when I was a kid, dunno how it would hold up if I were to watch it again. That opening gives me chills and given BigFan levels of tolerance it would be a worthwhile watch.

Aiura for best everything.

Pretty sure the first episode of the first season had the same level of animation, but perhaps for not as long.
I like how they've gone completely off the rails with SYD* + Show Spoiler +the dirty joke count downs caught me off guard like hell lol .

Saikin Imouto etc etc. Wtf did I just watch? A pink fairy, chastity belt, and super ecchi scenes...
Anyways, I look forward to ep 2.

Best character Watanabe Saki? I like SSY but the characters are really forgettable, if anything Squealer shoud be there.

I didn't mind that SSY was mentioned, as I liked it quite a bit. Squealer > Makishima

Space dandy was too good imo, loved the MC, really funny show. The OP was also really fitting and fun to listen to, and "Breastaurant" is totally my new favorite word .

I rewatch it and Code Geass probably once or twice a year. I have not gotten around to rewatching season 2 yet though - maybe now if I try to watch it without the same expectations I'll enjoy it more but I sort of doubt it. At least Suou is cute.
Mushishi OVA was good. Spring is supposed to have Jojo: Stardust Crusaders and Mushishi season 2, so I don't think it's actually possible to outdo it. Unless I'm mistaken, because I've been a bit disconnected from discussions lately.
At least that RC thing liked Kyousougiga.

Tonari no seki-kun. + Show Spoiler +Great adaption, great opening, great ending. Although i feel they could have made it a bit more obvious that when she's talking it's infact an inner monologue 90% of the time.

I went into more details after that. It was more of a comment about how you call everything "interesting". That list was interesting, IS was interesting, Valvrave was interesting, Macross was interesting, Log Horizon is interesting, everything is interesting to the point where nothing is anymore. I hope you are happy for having savagely murdered that innocent word.

Hey guys, I need some recommendations. I am very nice to anime and really want to start watching something new. So far, I have only seen Bleach, Deathnote, some Naruto and Suzumiya Haruhi. What websites do you guys use to follow discussions of anime?

I usually read the discussion threads on Reddit. Sometimes it becomes a bit of a circlejerk though, as usually the only people commenting (especially further into a show's run) are those who like the show.
