Might be one of those shows that ends up being shit because they didn't explain shit and rushed through everything and don't plan on making a second season. The show keeps me entertained though.

Here is my say to it + Show Spoiler + The first few episodes was quite entertaining before the quality of the anime sadly declined but its not that bad. It is still quite decent i even almost cried at the end. It was funny, the story was interesting and even though the story seems light-hearted some parts also packs up a punch that would give you the same ugly feeling you get when you watch shows like shingeki-no-kyojin. The first few episodes was quite decent it both contained comedy, drama and tragedy that was well executed. But the later episodes are not as good as the first few ones although i loved the ending cause it gave the same feeling that i felt when i watched clannad:afterstory. I would say its safe to watch. Its quite decent for me.

I just finished marathoning all Angel Beats over the past 24 hours just now as well. + Show Spoiler + I can't quite decide if I found the back story of the characters too 'forced'. Though Kanede's reason for being around while being the most cliched is probably the one I found the most heartwarming. Then again I might just be a sucker for love stories. The grimdark part of me did appreciate the 'alternate end' more though. I probably would have stayed happier if I hadn't watched the alternate ending and just stopped at the 'true end' epilogue though. I think I am decidedly against the Matrix-like God in a room moment, and I didn't find the 'Graduation Ceremony' all that well done to be honest. The only emotional punch I felt was with Kanede's reveal, and possibly Otonashi's inability to let go because that felt more 'genuine'. EDIT: Final comment. I really enjoyed the OST, especially the opening.

Wait...wasn't his whole reason for not liking MJP because Valvrave was bad? And then he just called you out for calling Valvrave bad. Unless his opinion has changed, I am confused.

Also best romance is that Loki guy and the MC. They're so bro and gay for each other. I can just feel the sexual tension oozing from every conversation they make.

I don't particularly think they are BAD, they just don't fit what I would like to watch that is all. Whether they are actually bad or good is not my problem. Saying Code Geass is BAD and as BAD as Valvrave is a bit much <.<. Started watching Hanasaku Iroha and I like this show too much D:, I didn't think I would like it from the description but I totally do. Also it has that same effect Silver Spoon had, where it would make me feel like a giant slacker for not waking up at 4-5am and work for 14 hours straight ![]()

After that it was kind of whatever, the middle of the show just got really bad because it was really boring/directionless, and then it had a decent finish. Standard PA works stuff.
