The only things I didn't like were the episode where Furuichi goes crazy Xam'd mode, and they just casually killed Raigyo as if they just wanted to kill a character for dramatic effect. The ending was like a wtf ending, but I was expecting something like that so it was good. Also, I really liked the epilogue part after the ending battle and stuff, that part was really good. I'm not really disappointed that Akushiba didn't get the girl cause you could when he would have when he was talking on the radio with Nakiami. Also, Akushiba should have got more screen time, he was the #1 character in my opinion.

I still think her issue is 90% with them being too close, not Touma stealing Haruki, also it's HARUKI not Haruto, gtfo that shounen crap lol. Sure she was a little jealous but I think her fear of being left out was way bigger at that point than omg nowai touma is stealing my man D:. Why Setsuna likes Haruki is as obvious as the fact that she likes him, now WHY Touma likes him, that's the real question here. She obviously liked him for a while since she seemed to know quite a bit about him and was paying attention to what he was up to, but why that is the mystery here IMO. I get that she shared that whole thing with him because she likes him, but she's usually so cryptic and tries really hard not to show any feelings towards anyone (guess: probably abandonment issues because of her mom). I thought she was going to stay that way for a while at least until she saw her mom and maybe fixed their relationship but yeah I can see where she's progressing.

Dude how can you say it's 2011 when the clock says 2007? are you crazy? lol. He couldn't have been working on it since 2004? it says 2007 because that's the current year. Also a dream can be anything, maybe he wants to write songs and this is a step in that direction. 3 Years is a lot of time to be working in one of your dreams, specially if you're in high school sounds about right to be, if he joined the band because they were going to let him write the songs that sounds like a good idea for him if that's what he likes. Her reaction was for me half toothbrush-gate and half when they told her about the weekend thing, to be honest I don't know if it's exactly because she feels they are hmm hiding shit from her again like with the toothbrush, it felt different. I mean this case it wasn't even their "fault" they didn't really hide anything, Lizuka gave it to Touma and Haruki didn't know about it, if she thinks they are hiding shit from her again and gets mad over that then she's got issues imo. As I said, I think this girl is mentally unstable and or very two faced, I'm waiting for her to snap any second now. You obviously didn't get the school days reference hahaha but yeah, for ME she's crazy and Haruki should stay the fuck away.

Now that other stuff is decent discussion lol. I never thought of it that way to be honest, I always pictured that was just Haruki chasing after Touma and confessing to her etc and she rejects him while Setsuna was around, didn't think she would leave after the mom comes back for the performance but that would make sense. It seems that the mom meant back when she didn't take Touma with her that she wasn't talented enough to bring her? but now she might be so she will ask her to come with her. That makes sense imo. It seems to me Touma wants to be with her mom even if she's mad that she was abandoned, kind of like Toradora yes. So I doubt she would have to be forced to go anywhere, but I'm definitely more curious bout this train scene now.

I think Setsuna was super embarrassed by the whole thing that happened with Haruki, I mean you saw how insecure she was about wearing that dress in front of him, then he just grabs her and "steals her away", they jump in a train filled with people and she's dressed like that so she's even more embarrassed because there's tons of people looking and Haruki AND now she's holding him so less people see her BUT she's also holding him like that which I'm sure is something she wanted to do but it's also embarrassing because it's the first time. Setsuna is a mess as I said before, half of the time I don't know why she does the things she does, she's not as easy to read as Haruki and Touma because SHE'S CRAZY!. If Touma leaves and they are left alone I wonder if they are going to pull a Kimi Nozo or if she'll come back quickly to FIGHT FOR HER MAN GOD DAMN IT!.

Hmm I'm really curious about if Lizuka is going to talk to Haruki about why the notebook, I mean hmm, I want to know why Lizuka thought giving it to Touma was the right thing to do as opposed to presenting it to the whole club (Setsuna). I wonder if Setsuna thought about that moment when Haruki shut Lizuka up as he was bringing that up while she was around, maybe she noticed that and she's like "hey if it's not a secret why did he do that?". That's a bit of a stretch but it's a possibility, I really want to know when Lizuka told him about giving Touma the song because I didn't see anything about that, did you?. Everyone at that school is going to think Setsuna and Haruki are dating now, I mean as if it wasn't enough they are calling each other by their first name, then Haruki comes and steals her away like that... I wonder if when Touma comes back to school she will hear rumors about that and maybe get jealous? kind of like Minori . That would be interesting to see if something similar is on the way, would she even get jealous? She's so cold lol.

To be honest after watching the episode I was like omg what? there was a lot going on (mostly Setsuna being crazy Setsuna) and I honestly couldn't articulate it all well hahaha <.<. I'll watch it again later and maybe post again see if I notice anything else, there is always more details to this thing lol I even look at the background specially in Touma's house to see if there is some subtle clue towards something lol. And yeah I really do think it's 2007, I doubt very much that it's 2011 lol O.o, why would the clock lie!? WHY!!!? :O A clock has no reason to lie to us, it's not like the clock is Setsuna! lol.

They really did justice to my favorite scene in LB.

The anime has been a little rushed, but so far it's been pretty good. A lot better than first season. Part of it is probably because Refrain is pretty linear compared to the rest of the VN. But not only that, the animation and art is a lot better than the first season too.

And now on to Refrain. I wonder which ending they will choose. I think that they will most likely go with Rin End over the harem end. And obviously bad end is out of the question

well, I never said steal but yes, I agree. She sees them way too close and has issues with that. She is unrealistic though lol. I mean cmon, you want them to be in the same band but not spend time practicing seeing as Haruki needs help. I wrote Haruko because I think I read that from your post or that's how I remember it lol. I never said she's stealing er man lol and ya, she probably fears being left out a lot. I was merely pointing out the reasons for why she was acting the way she was. I think Touma must've known that it's him playing the guitar. I mean, he said earlier that the pianist would play along with him when he played so I think that would be part of the reason why she likes him. She developed rapport with him indirectly. Maybe she saw that he cares about her. I don't think there's anything wrong with opening up to someone who you may like. That or maybe she slipped and told him her mom stuff. There's nothing really secret about telling that her mom left her and went to Paris on her own although she does mention other things as well.

I'm just comparing it to people I've known before who's dream was to become a doctor since they were kids, that kind of thing and when compared to this dream, it doesn't seem as long. I guess I see a dream as something hard to achieve but once achieved, it makes you happy then again, that's the way I was looking at it. Well, I see that scene as two things. Either Haruki confesses to her or he realizes that she's going to leave. Only reason I went back on confession is because I think doing it infront of Setsuna would be so heartbreaking for her and I'm not sure he would do that. Having said that, it might be a moment and it just happens that he confesses when he realizes he'll lose her. Both are possible scenarios imo. Yes, I think she wants to be with her mom as well. Well, you have a point. She was embarrassed and then he stole her away XD It did give her a reason to 'hide' behind him. She's NOT CRAZY! She's just had a hard time making friends, probably because she lost her previous friends. I'll have to watch that episode again to see what she tells him over the phone. Didn't watch Kimi Nozo yet lol.

Good question, not sure on that but we're speculating that she linked the two. Thing is, to us, we noticed but to her, she probably didn't. We notice as the viewers since we see before and after Lizuka gave it to Touma, maybe because he figured that she can do the music since she is talented. My guess at least. It was likely done offscreen, as in Lizuka told him offscreen. hehe ya, rumours are going around. I think it can only add to the show tbh. Will they silence the rumours or let them propagate? Toradora, they tried to silence them the hard way Well, come back when? they are in their final year, aren't they? no time to come back if she leaves I think. Festival is late Nov means graduation in June. Even if she does get jealous, her fault for leaving them lol. I would like to see a jealous Touma though XD

first episode, Haruki knew she was putting on a facade or something like that. I think he mentioned it to her when they were at the swings since I think most of the class doesn't talk to her because of how she looks or something. Have to check on that last part but point is, she isn't bipolar. She's just leading a double life (in a way). I think her two lives are starting to collide though since Haruki got involved.

No way she's bipolar rofl. If she was bipolar, she would be doing reckless things and have very risky behaviour. What's her most riskiest behaviour? Trying to get Touma to call her by her first name? XD

Was very pleased with how the anime is so far. I haven't watched a vampire anime before although I have to say it feels weird that Kojo is attracted to Yukina and vice-versa. If they somehow end up together at the end, it's gonna feel so odd so I'm hoping that it's offscreen rofl. The idea of the show is interesting. I don't have other experience to compare it to unfortunately. I am interested to see what direction the show will move in. The first progenitor sounds like he's going to become trouble for Kojo and with his lack of experience, well, it's gonna be bad. Seeing his head get chopped off though, wow lol. My friend made a mention but I wasn't thinking about it when it happened. It was like wtf, the head is off and I know he's gonna live but how? So much for suspension of disbelief XD Aside from that though, it's good so far.

At one point this girl will blow up and cause some serious damage. To be honest I think she's meant to be that character, the crazy jealous and irrational one, I think she hates Touma she's just pretending not to for now... I really do think that. I mean didn't her friends stop talking to her because some guy confessed to her?, I can see her over reacting for much less if something were to happen with Touma and Haruki her reactions to pretty much any new developments that she wasn't into from the beginning she always has this like this bitch is stealing haruki isn't she? I HATE HER! look on her face. All those odd reactions we've discussed I think that's basically what that is, remember what Touma said that Setsuna would probably be her best friend or her worst enemy and I think we will go for the latter.

Not just because of the fact that we're dealing with a love triangle here so someone will most likely end up hurt and or alone, but because this girl is not stable, she is not honest about her feelings and her persona is fake as hell. I don't mean the pageant queen bs or the idol persona that she has to put up to keep appearances, which Haruki mentioned he sort of liked how she freaked out about it constantly trying to keep appearances, I think there is a very crazy person locked inside her. That moment when they told her about the song she just had this "Wow shocking I'm the last one to know, AGAIN...". I hope she's not crazy, I don't dislike her or think she's a bad character, or that she doesn't add anything to the show, quite the opposite. But that doesn't really erase the fact that there is something really odd about her, if I'm wrong I won't mind being so but I doubt it lol.
