Yea I think I did earlier. But yea Clannad is an anime that I initially resisted because I wasn't a fan of the art style but it is now one of my favs. It really is worth the watch (both of them).

I love Clannad and After Story

Never watched After Story, watched Clannad, wasn't much a fan of it. I imagine the VN was much better, which is par for the course with VN to Anime adaptions.

The anime was pretty true to the VN, but the VN is so incredibly long that certain characters are left out and you don't get the full stories with each of the girls. However, I think it was still a fairly good adaptation. Only bad part about the VN was that the art style was shit.

The anime seemed like they crammed 4 different routes all into the same story. IMO that didn't result in a very good, cohesive product. I imagine the VN would have benefited from each route being its own route, rather than a clusterfuck like how I perceive the anime.

Episode 6 of Yozakura Quartet was awesome and you guys should give it a shot.

Clannad anime is OK. Afterstory is very good.
But the VN is still way better. They cut out a bunch of routes, shat on the others and ten just rolled on with the moefeels train.
I honestly didn't mind the vn art, the one in the anime isn't better really. It's just that they move. The big drawback with the VN is that it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong. I think it's the second longest one I've read. But it's really really good so imo it's worth it, I think it's a shame that so many just watch the anime instead. The VN deserves better than that.

ares, I watched part of the first episode of Yozakura Quartet.
+ Show Spoiler +It honestly felt like the main character or whoever it was that was in love with the guy(pink hair) is a totally idiot or something lol. I'm saying this in a good way and mean no harm. She just kept getting in trouble with the horse and such. It does add to the comedy though lol

Dude, the VN art compared to the anime is... wow. I thought the anime worked it's way through the girls fairly well without making it feel too haremish or not giving them enough time. Though, they did add those two bonus EPs for Tomoyo and the twins which were really good.

I'm on the 10th episode atm. Just finished + Show Spoiler +fuuko's part since it was the wedding and she wished her sister a happy life. So sad but I'm glad that she got to do so and that it worked out. I wouldn't felt worse if she gave out the stars but no one remembered. I got a bit disappointed that they forgot about Fuuko for that bit though Ya, I figure the rollercoasters start now. Fuuko was in it in a way to make them closer and maybe they needed another character. Still, I really really wish she wakes up before the anime is over. Would make it great if she does an episode or two at least before it ends and everyone remembers her but I feel like her part is over

I think you mean Walkure romanze, not Yozakura.
