Some of my favourite anime are probably because of the "wow" and novelty effect that came with it. I don't believe they are the best of the best. It just happened that I started with them and I enjoyed them. Some casual people I know are really loving Attack on Titans. While it is not bad, I find it has many flaws that make it hard to watch sometimes (for me). But to them, who may not be "expert" in anime, it is something amazing. AT some point, themes repeat themselves. Some anime can be generic if you watch alot of them (same with books and other "cultural stuff") Back to business : Now that some anime are over, will new ones take their place? What should I keep my eye on? | ||

Thing about IS is that, in spite of all the stupidity, the author actually doesn't focus so much on the retarded broom antics that makes the series unbearable. There are just too much stupid all around that he actually can't write mostly about the most retarded of them all. This magically made it a somewhat bearable series with the most painful portions kept at bay by other considerably less dumb portions. Haganai on the other hand had meat, a lot of meat, and it doesn't stop throwing meat at you because she is actually popular. If it had only followed the IS ways of the main 'plot' being diluted down to nothing by infinite side characters, it would actually have been better. Sadly that wasn't the case and mecha porn didn't take as much time as it could've. Also not reading manga never pays. | ||
