I did cry when my 3rd sister was born though, that's how badly i wanted her to be a little brother (that was 17 years ago, though). But in the end it doesn't really matter. I guess i got lucky to be the older brother to all of them Is it a pain? :/ Damn you. ![]()

Those you you who haven't already should check out the first four episodes of Aoi Bungaku.

If you have time certainly give the other 8 a try, but if you only want something short, go for the first story in the first 4 episodes. Ah, like that. I read indeed that the series is an adaptation, i just missed the first 4 were one story. I saw the first one just now, and i really liked it indeed!

If you want something similar, read Kafka. If you want something different (and really good imo), read Norwegian Wood. Can't go wrong with Hardboiled Wonderland (especially if you liked Haibane Renmei) and A Wild Sheep Chase either.

Also what a weird coincidence, I just started reading Kafka on the Shore last week. Iuno if incest is any more 'popular', but japanese stuff does seem to romanticise it a bit more. That applies to a lot of weird/niche shit in their arts/entertainment, though, so I doubt it means anything.
