That makes just as about little sense. The low birth rate of Japan is a relatively recent phenomenon, but they've been writing about incest for quite a long time. Also like I said above, more of it are about cousins than siblings far as I know. | ||

I thought that would be true then i stopped to think about it and realized I couldn't actually think of any, leading me to suspect the whole Japanese-incest-obsession stereotype is a more recent development based primarily on anime/manga than anything longstanding existing tradition (at least, no more so than any other culture). | ||
