Is this show, Steins gate, that good or is it overhyped ? Besides that, have there been any anime that came out, that are of the same calibers of Code Geass, Death Note, Berserk and Claymore? | ||

Dunno, I didn't find any of my favorite characters other than Feito so I didn't get any major impulses (except Nana of course). Like, one shop had lovely angel Ayase playing to lure me in and then I find merchandise of all the characters but Ayase. Also found Gahara-san nendo - short hair version D: I'll go again later since I was literally just aimlessly going into random shops the entire time lol. OH also I saw a Nanatard. How did I know? He (she?...so freaking androgynous...) was wearing a custom printed shirt with Nana's face lolol. I lost my initial chance to just be like "NANA!" and then stalked him wondering if I should be weird and ask to take a picture of the shirt. As a result, I found myself surrounded by hentai so I'm like....ok I'm leaving. yeah... only 60$? You gotta feed your impulses man. Also you have to go to Gundam Cafe ok. | ||

I mean.....if you liked DN and CG I can see you liking a lot of anime, so I think S;G would be good for you I'm pretty sure so long as you're okay with watching that's kind of slow and more comedic than dramatic in the first thirteen or so episodes. If you're going to ask for something on here, coming in with CG and DN are kind of hard because they're kind of the really generic super popular anime that doesn't really have a lot of good recommendations behind it. Why don't you try telling us what about CG and DN made it so good for you? | ||

Yea, back then, I also "said" I enjoyed Death Note. But come to think of it, I believe Death has dropped a bit in my "virtual" list (I don't have one per se, but I do have a rough idea) after watching more anime. The second arc killed it for me. If Light would have won (after the death of L), I think it would have been a more unique experience for me -_- Steins Gate was super slow for me, but then it became one of my favourite. I think it is worth it, if you can manage the "long development", that is. If you haven't seen it, Fullmetal Alchemist is probably a good choice. You can also check Fate/Zero. Otherwise, check some top anime list. Although subjective, you still get to see some of the anime that were very popular (popular =/= best) http://myanimelist.net/topanime.php | ||
