Not Gainax. The staff that made TTGL left Gainax and made their own studio, Trigger. I don't think there is any talent left at Gainax anymore. Even Evangelion technically isn't getting made by them anymore (despite their name on the credits), as far as I know.

I really really hope that they will be able to make something good out of this, because right now it's a story I've seen thousand times The series was at about a 7 towards the beginning, but then it started to get all shitted up. the people making Evangelion left Gainax to form Khara a while ago, yeah.
the TTGL staff were also responsible for P&S, they were basically all of Gainax's talent (and Gainax had a lot of talent).

So now that I finished my first final I had time to finish Index II and started Railgun S. I guess I should have watched it in another order?
I didn't actually read anything about S, or index to not get spoilered at all. So I didn't know what it was about at all, although it should have been pretty damn obvious given the name... I just didn't make the connection.
That being said, I liked railgun 1 more than both Index series except for few scenes from index + Show Spoiler [do I need a spoiler for this?] +basicly all the scenes with the misaka clones or mini misaka were awesome.
Really not sure what to make of S right now. The fact that I already know what happened isn't really encouraging me to keep watching though I guess I'll like it more from her point of view, without touma&index being the main characters...
I do hope it's going to divert from what I've already seen but I don't really think that's going to happen. Gosh I had so high hopes for it until I realized what it's about
