+ Show Spoiler + I really like what they're doing right now, and I am pretty psyched for the next chapter. I had thought that they were going to have Soma and Tako win, but this is a lot better, since there shouldn't be a chance that even at his best, Soma could win. I am seriously looking forward to next chapter so much. God of High School last few chapters + Show Spoiler + Well, I liked this for pure battle anyway, so even though story is going all over the place, still good. Might as well bring in even more super powers, since it looks like they're moving to a completely new level. Still kinda sad how useless mira is.

Watching the episode, I thought it was fine, nothing really blew me away. We got to see Porky's story, finally. Then the end came... NEXT EPISODE WILL BE THE CLIMAX. Everything building up to this point was perfect. Next week will be fucking crazy.

I have only watched 15 episodes so far, and the differences with modern animes are pretty fun and telling about how culture has evolved since then. However there is one difference that has really shocked me : The music is so good. The music in Saint Seiya is the main reason why I keep on watching. It feels so much better than the musics of all the other animes I have watched. I am curious as to why this is, is it just my personal taste ? Maybe the timeframe of development of an anime nowadays doesn't give enough time to create the same kind of soundtracks ?

About 3 weeks ago, I decided to give my nostalgy a go and started watching Saint Seiya, starting at the old episodes of 1986. Not only I think the music in old animes were overall better but the music/sound was a bigger part of the anime. Today animes looks like everything is about visuals and music is an afterthought, they only use music in the OP/ED/Teaser and then forget about it. (exceptions exist, but that is how I feel about new animes). And no, it is not nostalgia cuz I feel the same way about old animes that I had never watched before.

That's definitely not the case.

It's pretty funny. Lots of scenes where people go naked and experience taste orgasms after eating amazingly well described food. x) Music really isn't that big of a focus in a lot of anime from what I've seen....or at least most of the time it's just not that good. After F/Z Yuki Kajiura had some pretty lackluster tracks in SAO, even more rehashed than they usually are. The Shingeki no Kyojin anime really doesn't have good music...it's pretty meh despite the praise people seem to give it. o_O
