In unlimited and I'm at the Christmas point, does any action occur in unlimited or do I have to wait for alternative? And when do I actually get to see a beta

I'm new to anime does anyone know of any other animes similar? like deep slice of life anime thats not focused around 14 year old girls ( sadly thats all i got from google). Hm, I'd say Natsume Yuujinchou will be a very nice watch. It is centered around yokai (japanese spirits) but has such a nice feeling to it. You'll love it when you liked Kids on the slope

Steins Gate seemed pretty faithful from what I've read about the true ending for the game.

Well, enjoy that while it lasts I guess. Jojo's also my best of the... season? Or I guess last season? Losing track of season/cour correlations. But Jojo is Jojo and I am bias.

edit: Finished the manga, I'd say it was pretty good. Any recommendations for more "grimdark" manga? Or maybe mystery stuff, I don't know.

It has a slow start though and the story telling is kind of weird in how it juggles two main plots. It seems rushed so I'm curious how faithful is the anime to the source material? Steins Gate seemed pretty faithful from what I've read about the true ending for the game. That's cool. I just started watching Robotics; Notes, would have started sooner too if I'd known that (even though I only finished Steins Gate a week ago).

But yeah, having a sudden change of studio+ art style + all the voice actors felt really weird/annoying at first. I'll go ahead and read the manga as I'm interested in a decent amount of the characters. edit: Finished the manga, I'd say it was pretty good. Any recommendations for more "grimdark" manga? Or maybe mystery stuff, I don't know. There's always the classic Berserk if you haven't gotten into it yet or maybe Monster. The problem with Berserk is that if you get hooked on it, in less than a week you'll catch up pretty much what took the guy 20 years to write lol. Also its still not close to being finished.

I was reading all the 333 chapters again, but finished it in less than a week, they are so good. also, I think I read somewhere that Studio 4°C already started the production of more Berserk stuff after the 3 new movies, can anyone confirm this?

I just finished the first season of Darker Than Black on netflix. I was surprisingly caught up in it, even though the story was sorta goofy. I wasn't very impressed with the season finale, but certainly loved the ride. I'm starting season two now and that's been slower going... Would welcome recommendations -- the only other one I tried watching was the Airbender one, and I couldn't take it. I bowed out after ~ 8 ish episodes.

Already watched Monster so I don't really feel like reading it, but good point about Berserk (and Claymore, as I did like the anime at least before the end).
