+ Show Spoiler [Mondaijitachi - 02] +Ah, I really liked this episode. Neko girl's powers was really cool to learn about.
+ Show Spoiler [OreShura - 03] +Not gonna lie, I teared up a bit at the end there. Pretty touching imo. But an harem MC will always be an harem MC and be dense >_>
Also, I discovered this little gem: + Show Spoiler + Watched two eps this morning. Just a bunch of kids doing random shit in the club room. Omgitsgreat.

Now that I've seen more of Black Lagoon I can understand why someone said the action scenes are weird. Important characters can just stand in one spot out in the open, be fired upon by 5 guys who are about 10 feet away stand still and shoot them without getting hit. Sometimes slight strafing but without cover other times hitting enemies coming from all directions. Not to mention superhuman characters when no specific fantasy or sci-fi elements are present. Still an ok action series, but it makes the fights lack any sense of danger unless the enemy is a superhuman.

Japanese animators tend to have shit combat choreography.

Yeah, you probably won't mind it as much if you read some of the action scenes on the manga cause like I said they are exactly the same, which is why they are weird when animated.
Just find some online manga thing and look specifically for the scenes. I only read any cause I was trying to figure what Roberta's Blood Trail was.

Welcome to plot armour.

Jormungand is an almost as bad offender. Noir has some moments like that too. Happens in every action movie ever... have you ever seen a Bond film? Yeah... villains have good aim.

Plot Armor is the case for Lagoon maybe, but not all action series. I'm fine with characters living through impossible situations because they are important. I'm fine with characters taking on many opponents when it would be impossible in real life, but it's about how it's done. In action movies the protagonist kills a lot of enemies because they have faster reactions, are good shots, use cover and powerful weapons. In Lagoon enemies shoot first, have more guys/guns and the character does not take cover.
Shooting first is the biggest problem imo because in every generic action film the protagonist will turn a corner and see bad guys, their eyes meet at the same time, but the good guy is a quicker and better shot so they mow them down first. That makes sense as you can kill multiple people before they shoot you with automatic weapons or by being a crack shot. If the character can't get the first shot they should take cover and through smart gun play shoot the bad guys.

Well there was one moment in Noir that I can remember being like that but it was quite the offender so that's why I mentioned it, haha.

So I was listening to the Chuunibyou OP and ED... is it just me for does the ED sound like it's something out of K-On? No, like really. You could interchange it with something in K-On and you probably wouldn't be bothered at all.
