A visual novel developed by Guyzware and published by Namco Bandai Games based on Toradora! is playable on the PlayStation Portable, and was released on April 30, 2009. The player assumes the role of Ryūji Takasu where he moves around school and town, conversing with characters and working towards multiple endings as part of an original storyline. The game also features a minigame where players play as Taiga, fending off lovesick guys.

Didn't know about that, but really wouldn't feel right unless they completely destroy half of the premise of the original light novels. But if that happens, it is really just a different work. You seldom see competition between different characters when they all have routes, but since the novel has a definitive end, you can indeed create such conflicts. So yeah...what I'd love to see is an alternative scenario extending from the book where Ami wins out. Too rare do you see VN actually work up drama between heroines.

Also in the past 2 weeks I watched the first 2 seasons of Hidamari Sketch, all the Specials/OVAs, and caught up with the 3rd season. Fuck I love this show. ( X ' ______________ ' )

The only Gundam series I'd recommend watching as a series in and of itself (and not to one as a Gundam fan) is 08th MS Team. That's the only thing Gundam I personally consider really to be any good. The rest go from being kinda good, to a lot of mediocre and bad. I just finished watching Seitokai no Ichizon and Canaan...I liked both. Canaan was a bit too preachy and short, but the animation was great.

<.< >.> TL doesn't need another anime/manga/Japanese culture thing to clutter up the general discussion, but there's a lot of stuff mangas have to offer. Anyway, I'm still surprised that the day I was marathoning through Ghost in the Shell, JD Salinger just so happens to die, right after I discussed about the unheimlich with a friend of mine.

while different, it felt like the exact same things happened in the end. I know Gundam is essentially the same storyline over and over, with similar character types, but I still love it. Can't wait for the 00 movie that's supposed to come out in March (though I'm not sure when it will be watchable, if it's a theater release), and I don't really remember it well, but 08th MS was great when it was on Adult Swim.
