The characters... well, they do get a little better as the series goes on, but they really aren't anything special. The plot was pretty good. Lots of moral debate along the lines of "is Celestial Being the right thing to do", etc. The twist isn't half bad either. | ||

Gundam 00 S1 was very good. In the second season, they just tried to copy Zeta Gundam too much, and did a pretty shitty job. They also took the best character and ruined him in S2. lol some of the best parts in Gundam 00 S1, was when they were fighting like Graham in a Flag, or Sergei in a Tieren, and they were pushed to their limits. The Meisters in that show were pretty terrible pilots, and only did well when their mobile suits are like a bazillion times better than their opponents. | ||

Their skill level really ranges from mediocre to bad in S1. The only exceptions are Tieria (lame computer uplink) and Hallelujah (who is probably the most entertaining Meister to watch in battle. Too bad he got so little screen time compared to Allelujah). Setsuna gets hax in S2, but that's a different matter entirely. | ||

Maeda Jun is only behind plot for Clannad and LB, with Air and Kanon he was only involved with music iirc, not sure if he even goes as far back with Key as Air. | ||
