Aesthetically, the main heroine looks extremely similar to CC.. just with pink hair. PS: Are you the Necrophantasia that does/did translations for Foolrulez? Hey, It's true, some of the main writers are shared between the two shows. I thought the main heroine was aesthetically designed by Redjuice? To me she looks nothing like C.C. I actually kind of like her costume. I think the real main difference is that there is no Sunrise in this. Production IG has a track record for doing some pretty good things especially when it comes to sci-fi which seems to be their natural element. And yes, I am the Necrophantasia who works for Foolz. Why do you say does/did work for Foolz? I'm still part of Foolz.

Corona the Dragon Maiden - (OP) // (system/chara) Corona is made by Eternal and is the series sequel to Yumina the Eternal, which should be released by Jast in English by the end of the year. Hopefully enough people buy it so they bring the fandisc and sequel over too. For those of you who have played Eien no Aselia, Yumina is the spiritual successor to the Eien Shinken series after most of the staff left Xuse to form Eternal. This is also the reason why there'll probably never be a proper sequel to Seinarukana. On October 03 2011 13:13 Southlight wrote: Except Yumina was ok and their subsequent works have all been dreadful (though Eca maintains that nega-0 was "interesting"). Not very many people are expecting much from them. They are kind of right to leave a company that's now rereleasing a rerelease from earlier this year. Saying that made my head hurt. Nega0 was honestly actually interesting, but everything else has been crap. Yumina fandisk at least had good looking characters though ![]() On October 03 2011 14:36 KazeHydra wrote: just finish it now, then re-watch it later. since it's a dialogue driven anime, spoilers don't really ruin the experience, making it's re-watch value is pretty high. plus Hitagi; you can't get tired of Hitagi. + Show Spoiler + ohhhhh now I understand. That is such an awesome twist! :D Found scans to onimonogatari, now to decide to read that or wait for my physical copy. Hmmmm~

I'm sure it will be like any other anime with a mysterious girl appearing out of nowhere and turning some guy's life upside down (dragon crisis, kurokami, etc). However, unlike those two, I don't see any action scenes going on. I never really finished dragon crisis either, so I have no idea if it gets any decent, cause it was pretty bad from the couple episodes i saw.

![]() Well this is interesting. A guy got a companion cube in the mail. ![]() No wonder those things were so moe. But my tastes were soured, because as time went on, it felt more and more generic, culminating with the osananajimi girl. I thought "I probably would have thought this was hilarious when I first started watching anime," but now that I've seen a fair deal of animes, I didn't get much of a reaction out of it. At this point I thought about just dropping the show, but then I watched the OP, and I think I'll stick with it for another week or two. It was that awesome. Yukarin is too good. There were hints of a few serious parts, so hopefully it can capitalize on some cool shit and not squander everything on moe fanservice, but that's probably just wishful thinking. Definitely gotta keep my eye out though for when that OP single is released. Fear has a nice ass.

+ Show Spoiler + Really enjoyed the first episode, quality was good introductions were good. If the quality persists, it will have my vote for best anime this season. Sakura covered in worms made me ;_; though. Also: Best scene in the first episode Worst scene: Tokiomi and Risei circling Kotomine Somewhat related but I think Nasu should just outsource all of his ideas to other(better) writers.

Out of curiosity, how many people currently watching Fate/Zero have never read the Heaven's Feel route in FSN? Because it seems like alot lol

+ Show Spoiler + The most obvious symbolism is that Risei and Tokiomi are working with each other, and are like sharks circling Kirei, who happens to be a very convenient and accessible tool to furthering Tokiomi's goals. If you look carefully though you'll notice they aren't in full sync; Risei and Tokiomi are in a way working together but not for the same goals. You'll actually notice that Tokiomi is "a few steps ahead." They never look at each other directly, as when they look at Kirei the other is off to the side in their view. + Show Spoiler + Furthermore there's hinting at the internal composition of Kirei himself, who Risei insinuates is empty, but one of the critical components about F/Z and Kirei is "how empty" he is, and what he comes to fill that emptiness with. He doesn't actually look at Risei nor Tokiomi because he doesn't give a damn about them - he's at the center because so much revolves around him, but it's telling how he doesn't react in any sort of way, except to attempt to answer his own emptiness, hence his question at the end. That neither circling him are willing to look straight at him is reflected in how Risei never comes to understand his own son, despite evidently caring for him to his death, and how Tokiomi doesn't ever care to understand Kirei, as evident in his shock when he is ultimately backstabbed. It's pretty nifty cinematography. The duration of the circling can be grating but that's just an effect of how long the dialog is.

"Production IG has a track record for doing some pretty good things especially when it comes to sci-fi which seems to be their natural element"? And Sunrise doesn't? Really? Sunrise has a track record of producing TONS of good sci-fi shows, and Sci-fi pretty much is their natural element. First and foremost, Sunrise is responsible for Mobile Suit Gundam. Which is one of the most iconic, if not THE most iconic anime franchises out there. Mobile Suit Gundam (well over 20 titles, including some classics like Zeta and Turn A, and many other well received/rated shows), Armored Trooper VOTOMs (about 10 of these), The Yuusha series(which includes GaoGaiGar and GGGF, which was TTGL before TTGL), Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Dunbine, Layzner, Big O, Geass (lol), Five Star Stories, Outlaw Star, Scryed, Ideon, and alot of other shows that I don't know enough about to comment about their quality. TL;DR version, Sunrise's natural element is sci-fi, and they have done alot of good scifi shows.

Not saying they didn't. I personally didn't even see them. But at the very least they did tell the story of a route (albeit probably in a very piss poor manner).

Fate/Zero looks really promising and its gonna be top contenter for the anime of the year if they manage to keep the quality like the 1st episode and the action hasnt even started ! 2011 is really the best year for anime with Madoka, Steins Gate, F/Z , Kaiji 2, return of Gintama and lots of other great series.
