Maybe Gundam Age - it looks pretty terrible, tbh Shana 3 - for the lol plot twists Persona 4 Majikoi - sure why not Cube x Cubed x Curious - looks pretty shounen though

I just barely finished up Muv-Luv Alternative and I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the read. I was especially taken aback by it because its predecessors really didn't draw me in. Unlimited was alright, but honestly I struggled to trudge through the generic harem story of Muv-Luv. Imo the darker, more mecha oriented atmosphere with solid character development and overall solid drama elements worked out beautifully.
Anyways if you are looking for a decent VN series to read and haven't read Muv-Luv I definitely recommend it. You might want to read the summary of the first two and then just jump to Alternative, however.
I guess I should start tackling the rest of my VN pile. I should probably finally read through Clannad. I have been sitting on it for months >.<

Yeah, Muv-Luv Alternative is my absolute favorite VN. So many awesome moments, sad moments, moments where the game punches you in the dick, and then keeps doing it, just so good. Takeru's development over the course from Extra to Alternative was just amazing IMO. He went from the worst of /a/ to the best of /m/. I remember when I started reading Extra, I was like "does this really turn into some cool mecha thing? Really?"
Also, since you finished MLA, you might want to get hyped over this: http://myanimelist.net/anime/11021/Muv-Luv_Alternative:_Total_Eclipse
If it does well, just imagine them making MLA into an anime!
Also, enjoy your MLA-Withdrawal. It lasts for about a week.

I totally went -_- over the posts on MAL crying out for Muv-Luv original to get an anime adaption instead of the Alternative universe. It definitely seems promising though ^.^

IMO they should just do Extra and Unlimited as like a short OVA or something, and then give Alternative like 50 episodes. I would be so happy.
|
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't mind that. It would be pretty awesome if they did an MLA anime that had that many episodes just so they could really flesh out the MLA universe more. Imo they have plenty of room to fill that many episodes+ with quality material if they wanted to. The OVAs would be good as well to give the whole series a decent introduction for those that need it so they wouldn't have to waste episodes explaining back story.
Have they announced anything on the # of episodes of Total Eclipse? I am guessing something short like 12 episodes, but couldn't find anything.

Hmm...
I'll watch:
Ika Musume, Bakuman (after I finish 1st season), Working (after I finish 1st season), Shana 3
I'll probably also look at....
Last Exile (it looks cool, so I'll watch the previous seasons), Lupin III (keep hearing the name somewhere), Mirai Nikki, Fate/Zero (gotta watch FSN first though)
The season actually looks pretty cool.
But in terms of what I'm looking forward to, I'm interested in seeing that Tamayura ~hitotose~ series. It looks interesting, even at first it looks like a bunch of moe (though depending...it might not be that bad).

C3 - Looks like another denpa onna to seishun otoko so meh....give it a go possibly. If you were gonna give Shinryaku Ika Musume a try, then watch the first season! :D Yah, was thinking about that. I am probably oging to get trolled again but meh....im a brave boy >:D
It's not a troll. It's a legitimately good comedy series IMO.

Totally forgot. To Aru Hikuushi is a setting this guy made, and the movie is on the first, standalone book. Takes place in a world that's covered mostly by water. Tsuioku revolves around two great kingdoms who'd conquered everything in their vicinity, and always believed that "the great waterfall" on one side of them designated the end of the world... and then both kingdoms developed the technology for flight at the same time. Suddenly they realized that 1) they couldn't find the end of the waterfall and 2) that they could go past the waterfall, and discovered each other. Enter: war. During the earlier stages, the western kingdom, with its superior technology, made headway into the eastern kingdom, creating settlements. The story takes place some 20 years later, when the eastern kingdom finally catches up and surpasses the western kingdom's technology, catching them with their pants down as the western kingdom felt that they could walk over the eastern one with ease. The western kingdom's prince's fiancee lives in one of these settlements, however, and needs to be evacuated and shipped back out to safety in the west... but she's regarded valuable enough by most of the kingdom's court to be escorted home using one, mediocre reconnaissance plane equipped with a single turret, straight through the enemy fleet, on a long, multi-day trip.

Ah okay. That makes my job easier then, since I already have the visual novel anyway.

Anime wasn't THAT bad I thought, but I'm sure the novel is better, especially if you're in it for the eroge, the anime doesn't have that.

No, the anime is pretty garbage compared to the actual storyline. It covers the most basic, boring, and straightforward (and most unfortunately famous) plotline.
