You can skip Kenshin TV series and Watch Kensin OVA Trust and Betrayal. You need to watch Black Lagoon (if you loved Cowboy Bebop you will like this ), GITS 2 seasons + movies, Baccano!, Hellsing OVA, Mushishi, Mononoke, Gungrave, Shigurui (if you can handle REALLY gory stuff )

Hell, I was 12 years old or so, captivated by the whole experience. The magic of being a child... And to think that it has lead me to follow anime regularly, with some dips and tops in enthusiasm, for about 10 years now.

Anyone else have any special memories of "discovering" anime?
