Yeh the main reason I liked the first part of Death Note was because of the ways Light and L tried to win. When Light's genius begins to degrade it kinda ended for me

Don't know why, but this episode depressed the hell out of me.
Ohana is like what would've happened if they knew how to make Naruto a real character. Seeing her cry at the end was pretty sad. Finally there's something that we see that brings her down from her optimistic and determined personality.
Mom is sooo bad a parent it makes me want to slap somebody.
And there's also Ko-chan. Struggling with feelings is going to rip apart their relationship. Since this has got to be inspired partially by 5 cm per second (if the train didn't tip it off), the fact that they keep getting separated by vehicles is a good hint.
Yeah, this episode was the first one that was sad in my opinion
Her mom is definitely a bitch -.-
But also, I kind of thought that she blew the whole Ko-chan thing out of proportion. All he said was that she said he liked him, not that they were going out or anything like that. And I know that she probably feels guilty as now she probably wants to further her relationship with ko-chan even though she turned him down at the beginning, but I still think she's doing it a little overboard. Hopefully she can see this and fix it. Luckily there's 26 episodes so there's plenty of time for that :D
Next episode preview looks weird. Really don't know what to think of it lol. All I see is Minko and Tohru going on a date thing maybe and Ohana hanging up her phone and looking sad D:

The beginning part with the mom, was unbearable for me. I don't know how to explain it but her mom is just ugh... Though the rest of the episode gets better. Oh when i saw that other girl cling onto Ko, the big "Oh shit" thought popped in my head. I don't know what to expect since i can't think right now and i haven't slept yet. But I want to see Ohana fix the Ko situation
Just a lot of bottled feelings. I think Ohana is struggling with what she thinks of Ko-chan and the realities of who he is hanging out with. And the fact that she isn't able to tell him what she has felt just makes it worse on herself.
I'm actually curious as to what Ko-chan feels. The guy just gets owned so hard by the show.
She'll figure it out, but by then Ko will have a girlfriend and it'll be some sad, "oh no" for a little bit before it turns into some dramatic confession.
And then they'll confess and be in love and either Ko will move to be with Ohana or Ohana will leave the inn to go back to Tokyo (more likely since it will add more drama)

The manga has only just started though, so I could be wrong and that could be way down the line or not even happen at all...
But either way, the way I see it this anime is definitely the best of Spring. I'd be flabbergasted if this didn't get a second season as long as it isn't short-lived (or as long as Ohana isn't on a nice boat at the end[lolol]). Not likely though since, as I said, the manga is super new compared to most mangas turned into animes.
I really can't see it getting a second season. They could easily wrap up everything in 24EPs
edit: I would enjoy a s2 though
I would want a second season though
I'd have to wait to see if PA fucks up S1 to say if I wanted a S2.

Personally I like Lala and Yui best, hard to choose between the 2. While Mikan, Haruna, and Yami are close behind, I liked most the Yui x Rito and the Lala x Rito scenes that were in M:TLR, not to mention the previously-mentioned (lol) chapter of the manga with that awesomeeeeeee Yui scene :D
But I'd definitely down for mikan x yui x rito too hahaha :D
