The 9 straight episodes of emo Hikaru near the end really pissed me off.  To think that they would've aired over the course of 2 months... the show must've lost a lot of followers after that.I was also really disappointed by how the story just stops. According to Wikipedia, there was one more story arc in the manga, but then it just stopped, too. =/ Though I enjoyed it overall, I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone. Mainly because of these two reasons, and also because, as I look back on it, there weren't any extraordinary moments that really stuck with me. =\ | ||

There's deer headed men running around with light swords and Kanon is flying around the room and there's now Beatrice's mini witches running around. I'm suppose to feel pity and sadness for these characters but this is so ridiculous. The ONLY positive I can think of was the part with the red text telling the truth but that nowhere near makes up for this. | ||

I'll simply guarantee that while there 'might' be supernatural elements, especially outside of the board, the mystery solving will still be the main objective of the story. About the extra arc in Hikaru no Go, bill, you are not missing much, they essentially pick up another young player and then go take on Korea and China, there is like no real importance to it plot wise. Maybe it is author's way of reminding the Japanese of this game. | ||

There are some boring ones later where not much happens, but the 1st episode was imo one of the best.  On August 28 2009 02:36 King K. Getting original unsubbed Raws is really easy just follow my little guide, Go to: http://tokyotosho.info/ Then look for the Search Bar [Enter wtf raw your looking for] Then behind that there is a scrolldown menu (it says all on default) and select raws Press enter and tada the results! | ||

As far as the new Haruhi goes... + Show Spoiler + I didn't think the Haruhi-hitting-Mikuru scene was very well done. I got the impression from the novels that she hit her a lot harder than just a light tap on the head with a cone, which was precisely why Kyon had to intervene so physically and why it was such a big deal. After all, she's smacked her with the intent of knocking out her contact before. | ||
