As for raws...well, the raw search on tokyotosho work just as well as share, albeit a day or two (or more) late at most.

It might not have been you, but somebody was having major beef with that, lol. I realized though, that the actual song they play in the eps has much simpler instrumentation, lol. It's completely different. Go back and take a look, it's pretty funny, lol.

Oh and I've seen Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora too. For some reason, I found it boring rather than sad. Not that depressing imo. *Cue flaming from various fans*

Then it is about time you move onto other types of genre ![]() On August 29 2009 20:07 PH wrote: Ecael, was it you that was having problems with K-On! because of the ridiculous gap between Yui's guitar skill (considering she picked up guitar at the BEGINNING of the series) to the complexity of that OP song? Erm, well it's not exactly the same, but there's always ef - a tale of memories(/melodies) At this point you've pretty much gotta branch out.

Go back and take a look, it's pretty funny, lol. that was probably me. it doesn't really bother me anymore, but technically the songs played during the show ARE pretty difficult. listen to the intro to "my love is a stapler" (0:11 - 0:14) and then rhythm part immediate after (0:20 - 0:35). theres tons of little fills throughout the song that are also deceptively hard to play obviously, its easy if you just play the notes, but if you try to replicate the scratching and exact rhythm, its actually really hard. kind of silly to think that yui is playing those parts with her mouth open and staring blankly like a retard "brush and ballpoint pen" from the last concert also has a fairly difficult rhythm part during the verses when mio is singing (easy to play but really hard to make it sound decent), but its much more believable because sawako is playing it

I guess I'll come out of lurker mode for a second. How about hidamari sketch? hyakko? maybe school rumble? strawberry marshmallow? I haven't seen the first 3, but I've seen them lumped in with the likes of lucky star and k-on. Maybe somebody can fill you in if you haven't seen them yet or at the very least generate some more ideas.

But yeah, once I was drawn in, I had to watch it all, and it's definitely an amazing anime.

I'm not sure if stuff like minami-ke is better in manga form or anime, or whichever you see first. Thanks for the recommendations.
