lol two fairies come to her to make her life as good as possible before she dies, and they help her become a pop sensation. its not outstanding in terms of quality, and you might say its slow moving and repetitive, but i watched the whole series in a few days and cried like a baby on the last ep. so in that sense it was fantastic :D as for elfen lied fan-service stuff, i guess if that stuff seriously annoys you then you wont be able to see through it. personally i dont even really remember it. i remember an amazing and original story with a gripping and dramatic presentation and fantastic finale. kodomo was brilliant but if you watched half of it and didnt feel anything for it then watching the rest wont do anything for you. poor you ;( everyone has seen laputa castle in the sky right? there was 2 subbed versions; a dvd version and iirc the awesome version was a poor quality fansubbed version which had better subtitles/translation | ||
