Oretsuba adaptation has been...curious, they have managed to keep a lot of the original game's allure in the funny bantering, but the amount of fanservice it throws in the viewer's way can be a turnoff. The way it handled the plot has rather confused me and Southlight, but it makes sense after a fashion so you don't really hear anyone complaining. That and it is random as fuck, lolol cake. Figured as much, concerning Hoshizora. But sometimes you never know, things start out shit/dull, and give you a wonderful what the fuck moment towards the end! Downloading the Oretsuba episodes now, will give it a go. You piqued my interest somewhat. I guess you've played the VN aswell, and are comparing the adaption to the source material? I really tried watching Kodomo no Jikan but after half the first season I just lost interest. Maybe I will give it another try but really I didnt care much about it when i first watched it and I am not sure if that would change.

As for Oretsuba, yeah I played the game. They are handling the storytelling very differently from how the game has done it, but so far it is more or less holding up. I'll probably have to wait till the end to be able to judge the success to this approach well. btw, the part about animes is a reference to another poster in the thread, most of us would in fact pluralize it that way ![]()

How can you even compare these 2 to something like death note. I don't know what full moon is so i can't say anything about that.

I don't know what full moon is so i can't say anything about that. Am I a horrible person for liking Elfen Lied more than Death Note? Elfen Lied was seriously a really fun enjoyable show to watch. I guess it wasn't a "good" show if you mean thought provoking, or non-trashy, or particularly rewatchable. But in terms of being entertaining, I would certainly recommend Elfen Lied. It's just that the fanbase is horrible and tried to make a show that does a great job at being a dumb, fun show, into something it isn't.
