Also why is full metal alchemist Brotherhood(or the OK OG version) not listed anywhere? is it just such an obvious choice that it goes unmentioned? Also darker than black feels more supernatural than mystery...  | ||

Totally scrolled over and did not see the whole action bar roflmao im so terrible sorry D: BUT for mecha, maybe we should include Gundam Z (not ZZ) and unicorn?  I can't give a nonbiased review of gundam seed because I disliked the art style greatly along with them abusing TM Revolution for their music.... but I do prefer it over the others that have gone unmentioned like Victory or Turn A. | ||

also I am against Claymore being recommended, as it shames what a work of art the manga was before it turned into a monthly series that takes forever to update killing a good portion of the "less-devoted" fanbase. | ||

There are so many Gundam shows, mentioning ALL of them that are worth watching would require its own Gundam category. The original MSG Gundam is there, and Zeta/CCA are essentially direct sequels to it, and I think we can get away with not overloading the Mecha part with Gundam. Plus, being able to enjoy/understand a show pretty much requires watching Zeta, and I think most of the shows on that list should just be pick-up and watch shows. FMA: Brotherhood should definitely be there, probably under Action. | ||

To make your nominations, send me a PM with the three animes you want to nominate for the category. Then in the polls vote for...let's go with five animes (this way the voting is more than just everyone voting for their own nominations). But we may end up letting people vote for more, since it's entirely possible that we could get 50-60 nominations for each category. Or maybe we could increase the winners to 15 or something. If there is a tie (like say two animes are tied for the tenth spot), the next nomination period will also be a runoff vote for the spot(s) in question. Also it is allowed to nominate an anime for more than one category, so long as it has not already won a vote (say you nominate a series for the action category. It loses. You can nominate it for drama/supernatural/etc as long as it fits into those categories). Nomination Rules: -No big 3 -Separation of action and mecha. Since almost all mecha anime could also be classified as action, let's try to keep it so that the action list isn't just a bunch of mecha shows that didn't make the cut. Proposed categories: Action, Slice of Life, Comedy, Romance, Mystery, Drama, Mecha, Space Opera, Sports, Psychological, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Supernatural, Moe Other possible categories: Mahou Shoujo (this is kind of its own genre, imo), Thriller (there may not be enough for this to get its own category, but I figured that some of the psychological/mystery animes could fit into it), School, Shounen, Shoujo, Fanservice, Extremely Long (anything with at least 100 episodes), any that you guys can think of/agree on After all categories have been voted on, I was thinking of having a "Miscellaneous" category, where any anime that hasn't been voted onto the chart already can be nominated. As for where the polls will be, I will feel bad asking a mod to edit the OP with so many polls (because TL only allows for 12 options in a poll and you can only vote for one option, there will be a need for MANY polls), so I was thinking of just making a blog post that I will update frequently, but that would probably mean that all the normals would nominate and/or vote, which would cause the list to not be the true ADT list. Also just posting them on this thread would make it hard to find and a general pain. So if anyone has ideas for how to conduct the voting, please let me know. Finally if anyone here has 1337 Photoshop skills (even something made on MS Paint would be fine as long as it's readable) and can make a banner for this with some iconic anime charas or something, I will let you have a day with one of my lolis of your choice.  All right, so now that that is out of the way, let's begin the first nomination period. You have until Thursday at 08:00 GMT (+00:00) (a bit over 3 days) to PM me your three nominations for the Comedy category.
