Anyone see this week's episode? I thought they did a great job with this episode with Garp's emotions and the breaking Ace out of the handcuffs. I only wished they didn't have to drag it out since it's so close to catching up.

I haven't been watching the anime recently, but I am excited that even though the anime has to do fillers because it's catching up to the manga it will actually have good material to use as filler, the specific details of the Straw Hat's training. Though we won't hear anything new like what exactly Robin learned from Dragon before it's shown in the manga it will show small details that really could have happened during their separation like more times of Sanji in a dress.

Yeah, 509 is for next next week, (aka 1/3), and then WSJ takes a break for the week of 1/12, so we'll get spoilers for the 1/19 week around 1/14-1/15.

I really enjoyed that surpise chapter :D I was just checkin out mangareader out of boredom and i saw there was a new chapter out. good stuff imo, thought that they were going to + Show Spoiler +

fight, but the message from jinbei twist was f'ing awesome. i felt like i was watching the 6th sense for the first time. WHAT IS THE MESSAGE??!?! and will he end up fighting anyone?

lol, didn't expect Sanji's nosebleed to turn into a real emergency situation. Up till this point, the exaggerate reactions from One Piece characters (head crushed flat, giant head bumps, eyeballs out of the socket holes, etc) have been used for only comical effects. This is like the first time something of comical nature turned into serious plot consequence.

Well the nosebleed thing has been a running gag for the past couple episodes. Guess oda just wanted to expand on that a little more. and interesting excuse to dodge. lol
