That said, it's interesting that Uranus can create holes in the ocean and that raises the sea level somehow? I wonder how many times it's been used in the past. Maybe the One Piece world's oceans are so vast and land is so hard to come by due to interference from the ancient weapons. | ||

Garp is a well-known heavily explained and displayed marine hero, with accolades and a long history of fights against the most powerful of many eras. I have a hard time being surprised if he can create earth-sized holes. On the other hand when the new(?) power-ups and fruits of the Whitebeard captains were displayed first in that introductory chapter and now during the fight I thought those are some bullshit owerpowered fruits. Pica was something and now Pizarro is a whole island? That can move within the island's environment but is not the island itself? (He seem to move around buildings as well?) Jesus is even more strong than strong, the doctor's horse got a fruit and the doc got something even better fruit than Queen? I found it surprising no-one got surprised by this as much as I was. Garp and Kuzan at least have history and progression with their respective powers/fruits. The death of Cobra and the Nefertari-letter was very cool! I remember when I was a kid around 2000 most of my imagination was about the meaning of D. It was for me the most important mystery that got me into One piece. It's nostalgic slash uplifting to get that lore in the center of some chapters now again after 23 years. Edit: Oh yeah and teleportation, sure. I mean it makes sense for an evil crew which is after the best fruits to gain some good fruits but their types and abilities seem to be an improvement and more generally themed than any specific fruit we encountered. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I find it kind of funny how Sentomaru is talking a big game against Kizaru when he was effectively one-shot by Lucci only a few chapters ago. I suppose a point in his favor is that he has known Kizaru for quite some time and is therefore more prepared to deal with his powers. Also Kizaru will probably hold back against Sentomaru since they've been family for so long. Still, I don't except Broad Axe to last very long. I don't know how much longer this arc will last since the Straw Hats just need to activate their mecha to fly away, however, Oda has shown the ability to stretch out chase sequences considerably before. Anyone remember how Big Mom ran after the Straw Hats shouting "Wedding Cake" for 30 chapters? Therefore, I predict an equally drawn out 30 chapters of fighting on egghead. Here's how I think it'll play out:

I still think the ultimate question is of the PX-3s and the Sepharim. I don't think Vegapunk can ethically let the government have and keep them, so if there is any hint of a Gorosei around either (A) the command structure is not how they think, or (B) he's got to permanently take them offline. | ||

firstly i thought the hancock thing was pretty clever. a very oda way of getting the situation handled. as for what happens, all i can say is i dont think a huge fight will break out with kizaru going down. seeing as there are a whole bunch of ohara's records in elbaf too, i expect vegapunk to make the escape with the strawhats so that we get another huge lore dump in elbaf. therell probably be some casualties for a few side characters or something, or maybe the appearance of one of blackbeards crew will force kizaru back to protect saturn, but at the end of the day i think the strawhats will escape on sunny and egghead will come to a close. | ||
