I'm not sure either, nothing happened. We saw people eating, drinking, repairing ships? Maybe the admiral in the air is a plot hole somehow?

the plot hole was that people died. people dont die in one piece outside of flashbacks. ace deserved to die because he gave up on his dream to be pirate king and simped whitebeard
also pell survived the bomb while Pedro and Ashura doji did not confirming that Pell is stronger than many new world bad asses

seriously though if big mom and kaido are at the bottom of wano but they arent dead, then arent they gonna wake up one day and crawl out of their ditches and be like "sup wano im back" and luffy is already long gone

I’m not going to say plot holes, but there are a whole bunch of plot threads that are still loose ends. Seems like way more than can be tied up in one chapter.
I’d suspect some of them will get finished next chapter, but way too many are going to hang unresolved and forgotten or very quickly dealt with in unsatisfying ways. I think Oda added way too much to the story and then realized Wano was dragging too much and just finished it. If this arc was all released at once, I feel like he would have cut a whole bunch of it at the editing phase, but couldn’t because it’s released in bits and he didn’t have the details mapped out ahead of time.
Hopefully his short hiatus will help him map out the rest of the series a bit better.

And Oda should have taken his break a long time ago. The pacing of Wano arc was weird and a break in between the Wano Acts may have helped.

Some explain to me how Momo has suddenly aged 20 years, muscular as hell and apparently immune to pain? Side effect of time travel perhaps? But none of the other time travellers seem to have aged. 2 chapters in and no-one seem to care that an 8 year old now looks like an adult. Felt like I missed a chapter. Too many things have happened in this arc, it's way too busy and crowded I must have missed it. We get a grave scene confirming two deaths, seems like an important detail but I don't recall when Izo died. Then again I stopped noticing when people in One Piece die when they just keep living afterwards. Thought all the scabbards died twice over but a whitebeard commander keels over without my notice. Also no-one seems to mind Okiku joining the womens bath, and wierdly being the only one covering the chest with a towel.
Don't think Yamato will join the crew as someone has to deal with the Kaido army that has apparently mysteriously vanished, but I didn't think Jinbei would join the crew either and look where he is now. Carrot already fulfils the slot of strong female fighter.

2) Whatever happened to Yamato wanting to join SH?
3) What happened to zoro wanting to summon up the samurais and being compared to the ryuma lineage. (now we got Luffy being compared to Ryuma)
4) What about Zoro seeing Grim Reaper? Any story on that? So no consequences of Zoro almost dying? Zoro and Luffy all fine after sleeping it off? It's shonen and One piece has always been "goofy" and inconsistent but this is probably the worst writing that Oda has ever done. He's tired.

Bro, pre time skip one piece was #1 for me. I kept coping until it hit Wano during post time skip. It's just sad how its gotten. Its not even top 5 in sales anymore. It used to go on top 10 search engine in korea and it's not even mentioned in korea anymore

I think its because people here generally enjoy One Piece, youre one of the lone people who seem to REALLY REALLY not like One Piece here.
Believe me, I get damn near hating a manga, I read Bleach to the end and that was an experience I can only relate as authorial diarrhea, yet every week I sat down and scowled through it. Its fun to hate bad things, and crap on them with people who also hate the bad thing, but One Piece is kind of a hard thing to do that to given its generally highly regarded.
Thats not to say we can't all criticize it (fuck look how hard I went in on Luffy's dumbass fruit misclassification) but you don't seem as much into the criticism aspect so much as just kind of not into some core aspects of One Piece that people actually are generally okay with or actually like.

I still like one piece. I enjoyed chapter 1051 and thought it was great. One thing I hate is when Oda focuses SO MUCH on fodders and characters running for 4000 chapters. He always introduces same element (BIG VILLIAN => Luffy beats => kingdom is freed). It's gotten so stale. The nail in the coffin for me was when he rushed the ending without fleshing out all the loose ends and hes like "IM SURPRISED IT TOOK SO LONG!!!" NO SHIT stop introducing so many goddamn characters and hyping every moments up without resolving them or showing us properly. It's like he does this to milk as much $$$ as possible. Almost worried he became a capitalist pig

Imo most of your points are just open plot threats that might be a setup for something later. Which generally is good rather than bad writing, assuming they get resolved. Remember when Vivi was an absolute filler character at the start of the grand line? Turned out pretty well imo.
Also I'm fairly sure that Oda introduces all the fodder to flesh out his arcs. Because like you say his basic formula is very simple and hasn't really changed since the start with a few exception, so he introduces characters that represent the populace and kingdom that's repressed so we can sympathize with them, antagonize the antagonist and celebrate Luffy's victory. There are some notable exceptions, f.e. in the BM arc we got to sympathize with some of arguably the antagonists, but this is generally the way he operates and imo that still works pretty well for the most part.
Although I generally agree that he overdid it in Wano, it felt difficult for me to remember all the side characters and their story, especially for the scabbards.

Do you even read the chapters? The WG literally said they can't do an invasion because Wano is not opened. They literally talked about sending numbers but it wouldn't do any good. That is why they said "well at least have CP0 dude there try to snag Robin". The Admiral seems to be acting on his own going in. Maybe he was with the possible Marine invasion force but this is probably his own whim to go check out the guys who took down Kaido/BM. Yamato still wants to join it just wasn't addressed this episode because they just woke up and Luffy is focused on MEAT.
