Something was definitely holding back Crocodile at Alabasta. If you think otherwise, you need to watch Marineford arc again and see what Crocodile done there. He was BAMF/MVP of Marineford arc. I also love the future sight and Haki in general, future sight is probably as rare as Haoshoku Haki. Especially when you consider that likes Whitebeard, Cracker and Doflamingo couldnt use it. | ||

With that said however the last few months I've looked forward to One Piece chapters more than ever because I just want to see more of Katakuri. We also have Wano coming up which I'm just as excited for. | ||

the story now is too big and scattered. not that it's fundimentally bad or anything. Oda has no choice but to expand the universe, but this is at the cost of poor scaling and the painful weekly wait. The story will progress slower and slower as more attention spread thin across multiple mini character arcs. that being said I do believe when the volumn comes out it'll all come together just fine | ||
