Fishman Island wasn't almost destroyed by outside forces. That was a revolt. And it was stated very clearly that Big Mom stepped up after Whitebeard died to provide safety to Fishman Island, an act which they stated they were very thankful for.
When has Big Mom ever put an entire country to death for not paying sweets?
What evidence do you have to say that Big Mom's cravings are random? The only instance we have ever seen of her rampage involved the sweets she wanted being late, resulting in the rampage.
Further, with the idea of "Who is would the people rather have rule them, Big Mom or the Tenryubito". Imagine what would happen if an Island failed to pay the Tenryubito their Heavenly Tribute. Do you think that the Tenryubito would be more compassionate than Big Mom?

she didnt order a crocembouche, she just randomly wanted one and they tried to make it as fast as possible because theres no way of knowing when shes going to throw a fit

well its literally impossible to be less compassionate so at worse its a tie, but its very unlikely the marines wipe out there own countrys so most likely the worst that will happen is whatever money is missing would be taken by force
not that we know anything about the heavenly tribute though

I will concede the other two points. I will say that I doubt that they slaughtered the offending country down to a man, however. And the other situation is comparable to pirate raids, and at least they have a method of dealing with it.
As for the final point, we have seen the Marines wipe Ohara and Enies Lobby off the map as the result of a Buster Call. So there is a history for the Marines completely exterminating places for less than noble reasons. And as for the Heavenly Tribute, we know that its money paid to the World Nobles, and that not paying it is a very bad idea.

wether she could have realistically protected it is beside the point, the point is her part of the deal is to keep is safe, and she failed but didnt care at all
there part was to provide her with sweets, but because she didnt hold up there part they became incapable of holding up theres so asked for a two week extension, and her answer would have been to wipe out the entire country for something they were not responsible for which clearly shows that no matter what the reason, if you fail to deliver the sweets everyone you know and love will die

Ohara was supposed to be completely evacuated but Akainu decided, on his own, to murder every citizen of it thats not the WGs fault, and enies lobby was not an island that had a single civilian inhabiting it, it was a military base

Kaido's crew looks large, but given his propensity for beast-DF users he may be more selective when taking in crew members, thusly leading to a smaller crew. Blackbeard I 100% do not know, he seems the time to foster a huge crew if it befits him, that being said I can also see him being the Shanks type where hes surrounded by an incredibly strong small crew.
3. I would likely agree with this, Shanks doesn't seem like the time to carry on with a massive Crew-Family, a la Whitebeard or a literal Crew-Family a la Big Mom. That being said, we cannot know for sure.
4. Yep. Shes got quite the sweet tooth on her. Literally sugar crazed, Big Mom is.

either A) were establishing a starting point for the argument or B) were going straight into the argument
so either A) your question falls far deeper into the argument then could conceivably be considered a starting point or B) its a pointless question with no regard for every other contributing factor

Can somebody update me about... Sanji?
- Why only wanted alive ? Any background story?
- I remember Sanji didn't perform that much @ Doflamingo Arc . He went missing ..
So . . . did he have any new skill? So epic that makes Sanji epic again? That rival Zoro and bring back Monster Trio?

He is the son of a important family of underground assassins that used to be rulers of north Blue, they still keep their nobility level that's why they are still invited to reverie.
His father, wants him to marry a daughter of Big Mum and bla bla bla...
