Has it been discussed that the strawhat Luffy is wearing might be the same Roger was wearing when he was young? We've seen only one scene of Roger's youth and he was wearing the strawhat, and afterwards he is already the captain and wears the captain's hat with Shanks wearing a strawhat. What if Roger and Shanks have a backstory somewhat similar to Luffy and Shanks, with Roger possibly saving Shanks, liking his spirit, recruiting him and handing the hat to him. Thoughts? | ||

He carries the name of D but doesn't carry the will. I feel like Coby will end of following more the Aokiji route then Garp's. Kinda of loosing faith inthe marines justice. Smoker could, he does have more of that friendly aspect where at the end Luffy could trust him as much as his crew lik Roger did with Garp etc. But Smoker does not seem strong enough right now. Granted we really haven't seen how strong Sentomaru is either but we have yet to see him get his ass kicked. | ||

There are a lot of other things I want to see wrapped up, but who knows if DD being beaten even means the end of his plot. He could escape on his own or with aid. He's important or wanted by a lot of powerful people such as Kaido and the World Nobles. | ||
