Apart from Trafalgar and Luffy, it took the dwarves, the arena fighters, sabo, Kyros to stop them. http://www.mangareader.net/one-piece/699/5 He didn't -quite- "shrug it off" as you say. It would be silly to draw more than one panel of Doffy out of breath, and in the anime Doffys panting lasted quite a bit It left Doflamingo out of breath and why do you assume Kuzan wanted to kill Doffy? He has little incentive to, his attack was to stop Doflaming from killing Smoker. But the main point is what you said in your next post: You can't draw conclusions about Doflamingo's strength because you have not seen him fight seriously against a top tier fighter or a top tier fighter fight seriously against Doflamingo. And for all of Hyperbola's claim that Doflamingo will wreck Kaidou, most of it is based on the assumption that Kaidou only has strength and no wits and easy to backstab. I find it hard to imagine a prominent pirate, especially one who could form a pirate group of 400 pirates and become a Yonkou could be a dumbass. Let's look at some facts: 1. Under normal circumstances, Kaidou does not fight against other Yonkou, knowing his own strength 2. During marineford arc, Kaidou saw an opportunity to destroy Whitebeard and would have succeeded if not for Shanks 3. Kaidou obviously did not fight Shanks, as the redhair pirates arrived at marineford unharmed. This one event ,to me, shows a definite demonstration of wit and cunning and battle knowledge and is not based off the assumption with 0 basis for that assumption. Perhaps you have misunderstood my position and should re-read what I said, at no point have I claimed that Doffy not fighting a top tier fighter is evidence of anything, quite the contrary! ![]() ![]() Also, I think the point someone brought up about Law using Doffy against Kaido is a good point, but they took it too far. The fact that Law thinks that Doffy will put up enough of a fight against Kaido to noticably weaken him, is indicative of Doffy's (meaning him and his crew/organisation/potential allies) strength being far what one would expect of a schibukai ![]() EDIT: About the Kuzan thing, like I keep saying, the whole point of that scene was to build hype, we (the audience) litterally dont know what was going through doffy's head, was he trying to work out if he -could- kill kuzan/smoker/the marines? was he working our if it would be -worth- killing kuzan and the marines? We have no idea. We know that Doffy's ambition is to over throw the celestial dragons, so it could even be argued that he isn't scared of Kaido, he's just scared of having to show his hand/waste resources before he can achieve his final goal (I doubt this) but it is possible! We wont know how he stacks up till we see some more evidence! Which we have yet to see!

Your character analysis of Kaido as a tactician is pretty baseless. First of all, you don't know whether or not Kaido fights other Yonkus. He could have very well clashed with Shanks. Vista and Mihawk "clashed" and they both remained unwounded. Just because shanks didn't have any scratches on his face doesn't mean that they didn't fight. Besides, the war lasted a pretty long time, meaning that something held Shanks up for a long while before he came to marineford. Maybe it was bad weather. Maybe it was a giant angry beast. Thinking that Kaido attacked Whitebeard because he saw a "vulnerability" is also a huge maybe. Ever consider the fact that Kaido just loves to fight? Or maybe the fact that whitebeard had to sail through Kaido's territory to get to marineford? We know for a fact that some of Kaido's territory is on the beginning half of the New World. If Kaido was an intelligent general like you make him out to be then he wouldn't attack Dressrosa the second Doflamingo stopped producing Smile. As far as I'm concerned, he's a dumb brute with a lot of power. Here I leave you with a graph: ![]() This is the way I see it. Feel free to disagree but you won't change my mind.

Your character analysis of Kaido as a tactician is pretty baseless. And your analysis of how strong Kaido is individually isn't? Thats what I can't get my head around. Where are you getting Kaido's supposed strength from?

Well because I believe all Yonkus are an similar footing, more or less. Kaido might be the strongest beast but Whitebeard was the strongest man. You can't really get any more powerful than that. Kaido shares the "top tier" if you will with characters like Big Mom, Whitebeard, Akainu, Aokiji and Doflamingo. But the main thing that makes me think that Doffy would win in a straight up fight is the way he fights. Dancing circles around an enraged animal. Using its own strength against it. We've seen Doffy do just that countless times.

By the same argument you can say Fujitora can fly when he really just stands on a platform. We've seen only 3 zoan so far that can fly, excluding smile fruits and weird hybrid creatures that either Law or Caesar made. Are you doing this? Really?

I argue the point about Kaidou being able to fly. Dolfamingo can fly, albeit using his strings and not literally wings on his back. But it was a known power to people who actually were around him. You could argue Dolfa has that 5th fruit.
