Now, about the wikipedia link: "The Hachisuka clan (蜂須賀氏 Hachisuka-shi?) are descendants of Emperor Seiwa (850-880) and are a branch of the Ashikaga clan and the Shiba clan (Seiwa Genji)."

Now, notice the family crest? You know what has been Ichigo's "mark" since Soul Society arc?
Also, as if that wasn't enough, the article mentions a Shiba Masaaki. Guess who else is named Masaki?

Not to mention, in this chapter Kuukaku shows up after being gone for ~350 chapters and talks about how "Uncle" will be sad that they let Ichigo go to the Spirit King. We've never heard about an uncle before, but given this, it probably refers to Isshin.

So basically, it's mindfuck because we've had a major hint to a ton of stuff that people have wondered about for AGES, publicly available since forever, just that nobody (or at least very few people) caught it.

Oh, and since the Shiba clan used to be one of the Four Great Noble Houses this would also explain Ichigo's insane (and previously unexplainable) "power supply" that he's had since the start of the series, which is another thing people have been calling Kubo out on since forever.

Didnt we establish that the dead dont get to carry memories over to Soul Society? None of the shinigamis remember what they were like when they were alive afterall.

Also people have always been against people reappearing in Soul Society after death because then..... I mean Masaki would have been resurrected the same way. And Ichigo seems to have know interest in randomly pursuing her even though that would be the thing he should want to do the most on his spare time.

Or maybe this has something to do with Tsukishima's ability, which changes the past and your memories of it. Which handily enough leads us to the next question.
