Oh god that could actually happen and would make sense seeing how goofy looking squad 0 is, the supposed division devoted to protecting the Soul King. The Soul King is just as goofy and acts like a child escaping and having adventures in the human world/SS.

I´m confused, Squad 0 are referring to the Soul King as a person making actual decisions, but we´ve heard earlier that Soul King is more similar to a symbol or a machine, not necessarily a real person. It could of course be a person that fills no other function than acting as a symbol. Or Squad 0 are lying when they say the Soul King sent them, they seem very shifty so far.
I´m disappointed that they are not bringing along Zaraki Kenpachi, he needs healing and a huge powerboost after his last failed fight against the FAKE Juha Bach.

What if the Soul King is the source of the Soul Reapers? The swords are essential to the Shinigami, without swords they can´t do their job of purifying hollows. This might also explain why Byakuya, Renji and Ichigo are brought along, they need to have their weapons repaired by the one who made their swords.

that actually makes sense. urahara said that without the soul king soul society and its other realms would not exist, including the soul reapers themselves. so it only makes sense that he can easily create and repair swords, which is also why they are taking ichigos sword.
im also thinking that urahara was apart of the 0 squad at one point since him and aizen seem to be the only ones to have actually seen the soul king. how aizen got to see him tho i have no idea. maybe he was also apart of the 0 squad at one point since his powers far exceed all of the gotei 13 combined.

aizen saw him because after his defeat aizen went on a rage rant about the soul king and urahara responded with "i see, so you saw it". both of them referred to the soul king as a "it" and a "thing"

Kurosaki Ichigo waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were hollows in the base. He didn’t see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Captain Commander were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Ichigo was a shinigami for a couple of years. When he was young he watched the ghosts and he said to dad “I want to reap ghosts daddy.”
Dad said “No! You will BE KILL BY HOLLOWS”
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in Seireitei base of Soul Society he knew there were hollows.
“This is Urahara” the radio crackered. “You must fight the hollows!”
So Ichigo gotted his zanpakutou and blew up the wall.
“HE GOING TO KILL US” said the hollows
“I will shoot at him” said the cyberhollow and he fired the plot device cannon. Ichigo chopped at him and tried to dice him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
“No! I must kill the hollows” he shouted
The radio said “No, Ichigo. You are the hollows”
And then Ichigo was a quincy.

Is Kenpachi's bankai, or sword, permanently gone, or is it due to his persistence in raw power that suppresses it? If so, would his sword be able to repair itself if he were to be weak and dying, as he is in is current state?

His sword is perfectly fine, he just has no desire whatsoever to learn more about it and use it's possible strength. It was hinted at one point that he tried talking to it after being beat by Ichigo and that he possibly knew it's name but he's never said anything more. I think it was stated that his raw power from his reatsu is hurting his zanpakuto because he can't communicate with it at all and it is forever in a state of shikai or something.

I don't think it's even shikai. You activate Shikai by knowing its name.
