when they announced that this was the last arc i got all excited but this nonsense just keeps going downhill. imo ichigo goes super saiyan and becomes a giant monkey that kills all the quincy

If this a normal story, all the vice-captains except Rukia and maybe Renji would be filler characters at the end of the first arc. Rukia had a part in Ichigo's origins and is still a close confidant. Everybody else is trash.
Ichigo already surpassed the vice-captains at the end of the first arc. There's really no point to them or their fights any longer. The fights that Ichigo has been involved from then on need to be against villains who are close to his power level at the time of the fight. Something that can trash vice-captains is not close to the power level of him nor his opponent. Ichigo should be closer to Yamamoto's power level than the vice-captains' power level.

It's not going downhill. It hit the bottom during the fullbring arc. This is a steep ascent in comparison.
Also, quincies getting killed by a giant monkey would be the highlight of the entire series

Can anyone find any sort of deeper meaning in this?
We now have the human faction(japanese?), the shinigami faction(also japanese?), the hueco mundo faction (spanish) and now we also have the quinchy faction (german). Is this some sort of weird third world war in the future? I'm sure there has to be some reason why he keeps making the new factions european. Or is he playing on the whole nationalism -> war?

Damn man, that is some really well thought out stuff.
I think Genghis Khan did the same thing. He gathered his strongest warriors around him in Mongolia and said "Kill them all." Then his people just rode out of the steppe and killed everyone. This is what all great generals do.
