And you know what they do then? They let Kenpachi instagib a guy. And I love that bastard. The only reason I still read bleach is because I hope one day he'll get his bankai, or at least get to talk to his sword. And It's going to be awesome! RIGHT!? ISN'T!? IT GUYS!? A merry go round of characters with a snifter of actual story. And in the end Lassie laughs. And you know what's sad? The upcoming fight of Byakuya and the Japanese version of the Team Fortress 2 spy (I really can't be bothered with these names) is actually cool because of old stone-eye's resolve. And it'll be cool. After 90 pages of bollocks. Just imagine if the good parts of the last 58459 pages would have been condensed into a single chapter or 2 or 3. Bleach would be an awesome manga again. Right now, it's like reading the Songs of Fire and Ice series 5 pages a week. You have 1200 pages to go in a single book/arc and in the end it'll be pretty good. But it took so long it doesn't really matter anymore. Maybe he should just stop publishing and post it as a book. And that analogy I pulled out of my ass was pretty good, because it'd take about 4 years to read the book that way. And by that time a new one usually comes out! So yeah ... Looking back at this post. I'm fascinated by this series. But more fascinated with my almost religious hope that in the end it will all be fine. And if it won't be, I'll have no choice but to study taxidermy before going on a murderous rampage to claim Tite Kubo's head. and then mount it on my wall with fear and pain forever dominating his countenance. | ||

For them to ever connect you would have to completely rewrite the character and that my good friend isn't character development. It's as if Ichigo would suddenly be likeable. | ||

Damn Bleach is so terrible yet I just keep watching it and reading it. Take Hueco Mundo Arc for example Why should we have cared at all when the Spirit King was gonna die, he was a work of fiction and not just that he is in bleach, but we have literally only heard that "Soul society would be fucked without him!" how can the audience want the spirit king to be alive if we have not seen him once? I would even have been ok with hearing about something he has done or things he does, but no, we got nothing at all. Ok at least we can care about Karakura Town being destroyed... owait, the only characters who we seen in Karakura are the following. Urahara and co. but he would have probably saved them somehow. Ichigo and co but none of them would have been in Karakura Town when it got destroyed so that doesn't really matter. Keigo, Tatsuki, Mizuiro(?) and lesbian girl, Keigo Mizuiro and lesbian girl are all just comic relief characters and I guess Tatsuki is an ok character, but we had not seen her for like 200 episodes of anime and no one would have cared if she died as she had not been relevant for SO LONG. Ichigo's father and sisters, his sisters hadn't been seen for 200 episodes also. Don Kan'onji is also comic relief and I can't remember any others so if there is any then they are not really very important at all. No character development for anyone really except Ichigo and co. I think it would have cool to see some more backstory for Isshin and Ryuuken (I don't read manga so idk if there has been :p) but we already knew that Isshin was a shinigami anyway so it wasn't an incredible reveal when he came to help Ichigo. We still don't know Yammamoto, Ukitake, Kyoraku or Unohana's bankai yet! The visoreds were the biggest let down EVAR. Shinji looked cool and got his ass kicked, hiyori got sliced in half (or a little cut in the anime) Love & Rose looked badass but then got raped by wolfs then got smashed by Aizen. Ok Hachi did some cool shit. Lisa also did nothing of importance. They might have as well not showed up... Bankai is meant to be this incredible skill that only a handful of shimigami can learn yet Ichigo just walks around with his bankai out all day everyday. Good guys never die, this means there is no suspense as to will a good guy live or die? No they will get there ass kicked, then go hyper super ultimate mode and beat up the bad guy or get saved by someone. | ||

I read it... I heard it... I just have 0 reaction to it at this point. Some mixture of my hopes and expectations have finally gone numb. *insert oblig. 'see you guys next week'* I'm fairly sure that is supposed to be a thumb in a weird glove... and not a penis. Something about the eye of the beholder I suppose. :-p | ||
