Is it just me, or is the author's technique of "character with serious tension -> gets smacked and therefore random comic relief" really getting old? If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about Ishida being hit by Ichigo and having that typical comic relief thing that has happened in almost every other non-fighting chapter that I can remember...

I think it's just a bad translation and he was just training to fight someone at Aizen's level. Still these "battles" are just annoying wtf moments. What sort of plot devices will Kubo have to include to make them acceptable fighters. You would think them stealing Ichigo's powers would be the thing that allows them to fight at a high level but instead it's just them sucking. He really should have made them fight normally lose then get powered up by Ichigo's power but instead will need to have them get a 2nd power up or at least all of them have to hide a hidden ability or some bullshit.

The imprisoned Aizen was actually a clone. The real Aizen has been hiding out and is now ready to start part 83 of his master plan (Fullbring guys were part of his plan), and Soul Society is all too weak so they needed Ichigo to regain his powers so he can sacrifice them again to defeat the real Aizen, but this is also according to his plan.

Could Kubo think up of something better than just strapping a motorcycle engine onto Jackie? I get Dirty Boots was upgraded to her entire body, but THIS is how she'll get dirty enough to use the power boost? That's just stupid.

Ikkaku popping his shoulder back into place was OK, I guess...

These fights bother me. Even with the new powerups, it is just a squash match with the Fullbringers still out of the league of the Shinigami. And what happened with the Byakuya/Tsukishima fight from the end of the last chapter? Is Tsuki getting offscreened? How about finishing one fight before going to another if you are pairing them up?

These characters suck, anyway. The faster Kubo kills off the fullbringers, the better. Ginjo is about the only one that's halfway interesting. What I'm most concerned about is another BS power-up that allows these guys to live longer and have this arc get dragged out even further.

well he's saying that these guys are too weak. though iunno if he's bringing aizen back now, it would feel kinda odd. the arc seem kinda conclusive (except his final form was gay as shit and they couldnt actually kill him)
