Tamara: so bad it's hilarious, but some of the scenes were actually pretty disturbing imo... i had to look away at one part. ![]() 127 hours: finally watched this one... i already knew it was going to be fantastic, but it still blew my mind. the cinematography & editing were fucking amazing, and the acting was top notch. i <3333 james franco. i can't wait to watch your highness, just because he's in it.

I came out thinking that they just tried to rush through a complex story in too short a time.

Flame and Citron (Flammen og Citronen) Just watched this (again, again, again). I came across a random trailer for it a while ago too. The movie is how the Danish resistance was working under the second world war. And the complete paranoia of not knowing who to trust. It's not a typical war movie.

I haven't seen this flick yet, but the trailer for this one was suggesting that the whole problem is rooted in "bad people from wall street who go screw hookers because that's what bad people from wall street do because they're bad people from wall street" + the whole conspiracy theory atmosphere which is bullcrap. I know, I know - i'm probably not entitled to that opinion cause i didn't actually see the thing, but it just seems like another movie rather than a cold hard documentary. I'll see it when i have the chance tho. Anyway (cause I'm kinda going around the point of this post and making myself look like a smart-ass ;p) the best movie about the economic crisis that i've seen thus far is this: Overdose It pretty much sums up the whole situation as it is. For further info I recommend googling up "the austrian school of economics" or guys like peter schiff and his views (who in fact is one of the people featured in Overdose).

After reading some of these bad reviews (Inglorious Basterds, The Social Network), I don't feel like I can trust any of them. How can u give inglorious bastards and the social network bad reviews... maybe the social network was not for everyone... but id expect all of team liquid to love the gory humor of inglorious bastards, maybe you're like my 12 year old brother that doesn't like movies cause of the "boring" talking parts where they develop the storyline, plot, and irony. I guess you should stick to Michael Bay's movies to watch all the pretty explosions. I find all of Quentin Tarantino's movies spectacular especially Pulp Fiction. Another favorite is Fight Club... but who doesn't love Fight Club? 500 Days of Summer i also enjoyed, (no homo) it shows a real dynamic to relationships all the generic shit chick flicks don't.

Such a great movie! I hadn't seen it since released in theatres and forgot how much I enjoyed it. I also noticed some new things on second watch, like a new meaning to November 5th (and not just V = 5). Paul By recommendation here... and I loved it! Vulgar, but hilarious. Galaxy Quest From reading reviews on Paul, a critic mentioned this movie Galaxy Quest. ![]() This was a much cleaner comedy, but still an enjoyable ride. At its core it's a sci-fi-comedy about an alien race mistaking actors for actual commanders of a star fleet (ala Star Trek). I thought it was well done and kept me interested the whole way.

very good. good atmosphere. very good juxtaposition with ballet and paranoia. stone 7/10 pretty good performance from mila and edward. de niro just plays himself again. the story is interesting and thought provoking. I am number four 4/10 teenage drama with superpowers. browsed through it for the action scenes. battle los angeles 6/10 was expecting something new but this was just a slightly better version of skyline/independence day etc. it aint no district 9 fear and loathing in las vegas 8/10 first time I watched this I had only tried alcohol. now I realize just how absolutely out of it they must have been. I recommend some drugs for added viewing pleasure.

My expectations were extremely low, so I thought I may be happily surprised, needless to say I wasn't. I honestly don't know why I chose to watch this movie.

![]() MIND = BLOWN. documentary on a photographer. He really captures grand environments that most people in the civilized world are just completely ignorant of. dosent hurt that its horrifyingly beautiful. the part with the ship graveyard was just mind numbing. i thought my world view was open enough to encompass most things, but this movie just shows how completely fucked we really are.

![]() I recently saw this with my girlfriend. Different from the book, but still a strong movie overall. Lots of great moments and great for a date movie. I suggest people check it out, but if you feel its not your type of movie, just rent it when it is available.
