![]() The thing with this time of movie is that it can either be good, bad or boring. Sometimes the costuming etc. is so horrible, or they completely misrepresent the historical person in question, but these type of movies can also be a bit on the dull side. However I thought this movie was really good and liked it very well. The costuming was accurate, the acting was good and the storyline engaging ![]()

The second movie should have been great (was co-written by Frank Miller of Sin City) but got bogged down in the middle to the point of being almost unbearable to watch. At least the final fight scene was kick ass. Also, why was Robocop blue in the second film?

![]() ![]() Watched the other 2 Infernal Affairs movies. Such a good series. ![]() The Eagle - Sorta typical action movie here. The film tells the story of a young Roman officer searching to recover the lost Roman eagle standard of his father's legion in the northern part of Great Britain. There were alot of slow parts in it though which kinda threw off the pacing for me. ![]() Inside Job - Ended up learning alot about the collapse, and economics in general. Must watch IMO. ![]() Knowing - Bunch of bullshit. Don't waste your time.

![]() Enjoyed it quite a bit, and I think Ray Stevenson is an amazing actor. Loved him in Rome and a few other minor roles as well.

![]() Saw Hanna yesterday and found it very entertaining. The movie blends genres so deftly I felt like I was watching the product of a graphic novel. The movie is both an action thriller about a cold-blooded teenager set loose in the real world to exact revenge as well as a fairy tale about a girl growing up in today's modern world. I loved the attention given to various cultures, especially the music sequences. I sat through half of the movie trying to tie themes together before letting go of any notion to analyze a movie that's meant to entertain more than it is to meant to make you think. Great soundtrack by The Chemical Brothers as well. 4/5

![]() Rebecca (1940) - Directed by Alfred Hitchcock; his only film to win Best Picture at the Oscars. Starring Lawrence Olivier, Joan Fontaine, and Judith Anderson. It was a pretty good film- a bit spooky, with great performances. I like other films by Hitchcock (who doesn't?), and this one did not disappoint. Still, I'm not sure it should have won Best Picture over The Grapes of Wrath. 4/5

I cried the last 30 minutes of the film. It's so emotional. It's based on the famous Japanese dog, that was extremely loyal to it's owner. Even after his death.

I (unfortunately) saw "Your Highness." http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/your_highness/ I think it may have been the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. It's utterly atrocious. I managed to get my money back, it being so bad that I made a good effort for the refund. As bored as you've ever been in your life - it's still not worth watching. You'd get more entertainment by doing shots of Clorox than by watching "Your Highness." Just a warning to all - avoid at all costs. Utterly asinine, stupid, juvenile, humour. To call it collegiate (as one of my friends did) is an insult to that term - it's that bad. EDIT: Added link to movie.
