OBAMA In a free market though, this is pretty much inevitable. awesome movie, really well made, enjoyed every second of it. also I came out learning quite a bit about US economics, which is cool.
Probably the worst movie i've ever seen. Nice music though. but when they play the best daft punk song they are karate fighting w/ tron disks. again, the worst movie I have ever seen - how the fuck do these movies get made?
watched this for a class. really enjoyed the main character (batala). no idea who he is, but god dam he can act o_O
Also for a class, but this one is fucking awful
best movie of the year? how didn't this get nominated? but then u got movies like the Kids are Alright? get the fuck out of here Oscar
ughh
I need to stop watching movies with women. FML also what is wrong with Anniston's face? she looks like shes completely made out of plastic now LOL
haha this was great
As a philosophy and nursing major, i found this absolutely fascinating. al pacino is fucking great. SUP de niro ??
Megamind: Not a fan. I rarely enjoy these animated comedies, with movies like Up being an exception.
The Next Three Days: It was pretty good actually. Not an all time favorite, but worth the watch.
Tron: For some reason I went into this one with very low expectations. I found that the dialogue and acting was lacking a bit, though Jeff Bridges did an ok job. The story was predictable and full of cliches. In spite of this, I ended up loving it! The soundtrack is one of the best ones I've ever heard and the visuals are absolutely stunning. Visual art and soundtrack 10/10 hands down, story 5/10.
Complete rubbish. It seems that the dates they used for the movie (witch hunts and crusades) were taken after Umberto Eco's Le Nom de la Rose, without knowing he has deliberately mixed the dates and Medieval periods to mock the reader. Nicolas Cage is bad as usual and even Ron Pearlman couldn't help this movie. About the plot and movie in general: After fighting off the urge to turn it off after the first 5 minutes (I really wanted to survive the movie, even if just for the sole purpose of giving this review, so that others might avoid it) I got bored to death and assaulted with bullshit throughout the duration, until the last 15-20 minutes, where I couldn't stand it any more and was forced to fast forward it almost constantly.
This is like the perfect classic nerd/horror fan party movie, it delivers in every way, constantly hilarious and engaging. Has much head-asploding, a cop who may or may not be a psychopath and brain slugs.
Summary: If you can picture Independence Day with worse acting, no Will Smith and 10 times the budget, you can picture exactly what this movie is about. You can almost copy the storyline from one movie to the other. I know the main character played Two Face, but I felt the movie was stacked with B-level actors (including Aaron Eckhart).
Overall: Wait until it comes out on Netflix or your local movie channel. Not worth wasting $12 to see in the movie theater.

It's kind of a funny story was actually an excellent book
The Harder They Fall - Bogarts last movie. About a sportswriter who loses his job and starts working a boxing promoter, with little regard for the boxers themselves. Overall, pretty decent.
The Pacific - Inferior to BoB, but I guess I expected that. I really disliked the fact that they spread out the story so much, They should have just focused on Sledge and Leckie imo.
Waltz With Bashir - Based on the graphic novel which I read like a year ago. Really enjoyed this, loved the animation.
Windtalkers - Pretty bad as far as war movies go. Even in times where you know there is emotion in the scene, you can't see it because your watching Nick Cage.
Valkyrie - First of all, I have to gripe that a movie with Nazi's talking in it constantly without hardly any German being spoken. Made it hard for me to get into at first. Other then that, it was ok.
The Queen - Great movie.Helen Mirren and Michael Sheen were amazing. If you like Drama's, this is worth a watch.
Three Kings - Humor, violence, action, has a bit of everything. Takes place towards to end of the Gulf War, and they find a map leading to some of Saddam's gold so they go AWOL and go after it. Great movie.
Similar to The Bourne Identity. Upon reflection the storyline was a piece of shit but sitting through it there was a lot of suspense and the action scenes were enjoyable.
If you like action movies - this is absolutely sick. Really impressed, even though I'm usually not a huge fan of the genre. Plot has barely enough to keep you watching but you won't regret the rest. Solid 8/10.
I watched Rango and its not ur normal animation movies like The Incredibles or Toy Story. Maybe I'm used to those kind of animation movies cos i didn't particularly enjoy Rango.
