I think it's amazingly subtle and there's a lot to appreciate about it, especially the soundtrack. Beach Boys' acapella? Yeah! And it should be said that it's much like Shrek in the aspect of "I don't want to watch that, it's for kids" because it's actually very enjoyable for everyone. I know it's from 2009. I don't watch new movies until they air on television for free. =P | ||

It's the kind of movie Tarantino would make if he hadn't sold out. One of the few movies I've watched multiple times, because you miss so much on the first viewing. Oldboy/Sympathy for Mr Vengeance - These are probably in this thread like 100 times, so I won't say too much about them. I didn't like Lady as much, but still a worthy trilogy. Oldboy is one of my favorite movies of all time. I really really want to see Black Swan, so I'll come back here with an update after I do! | ||

Terry Gilliam's Twelve Monkeys (also great) is based on this film. | ||

Yes. Does it contain some truly epic scenes? Yes. Does it leave you with a big grin on your face after you finished watching it? Yes. Man, this movie was a blast. Exemplary work. Can't wait for a sequel. Just wish I could watch it in 3D on a silver screen. Yes I've read the book also, the book is detailed in describing some things, but all the details are adding and fleshing things out and really making the whole theme about science seem more real and believable. | ||
