The flashbacks felt way to long and there was nothing cool or clever in this film. I would say stay away unless you are a fan.
Agreed. It took an interesting take on the main trinity of heroes for The Justice League but wasn't really a good movie otherwise. Previous Justice League and Batman movies were better imo. The shorts they released for each hero was better than the actual film imo. Only watch if you wanna see what the alternate versions of some characters are and if you are a big DC fan. Was super hyped about this movie too, disappointed. 6/10
I can't remember the last time a movie has pissed me off this much. It's like they made a story without understanding the basic precepts of storytelling. Worse, they made a homage movie without understanding what made the original worth watching in the first place.
See this fucking movie if you have even the slightest interest in the sci-fi genre you will not be disappointed.
So mad a theater closer to me didn't show this film and I didn't get a chance to see it when it first came out, had to wait for the bluray. Not enough praise for this movie, reminds me of Grand Budapest Hotel all over again. Hopefully it gets some nominations for awards.

Agreed, this movie was as stupid as stupid can be.
Near the end I was just sitting there wanting it to be over already. I actually liked the setup of the movie (the first 30 minutes or so), but it just went downhill quickly after that.

I thought it was overrated, but that's just my opinion. It was good and I feel like they did a lot of things right in it, but the pacing wasn't great and I feel like it was a bit... anticlimactic. They left out a lot of the meat and potatoes of the actual discussion behind AI and it left me asking more questions about my own views on it than they really presented me with. I think it's a fascinating topic, but they just didn't do a great job exploring the many facets of it. I think the field itself prompts a lot of discussion whenever it's brought up, but the film itself didn't really do much discussing. It was a good movie with stunning CGI, but I just felt like it gave me a taste of greatness and just pulled it away from me without giving me the rest.

Would not recommend this movie.
Most disappointed I've been with a sequel. The action was decent, but the writing (how did they manage to make D'Onofrio look like a bad actor???) and the storytelling were beyond terrible. I wish that they had just made a Jurassic Park movie of the dinosaurs running around instead of that piece of shit. Some of the scenes had my friends and I cringing at how bad the writing was.
About Fight Club: I think you either love it and realize how it was really great when it was released, or you just realize how this shit has been done a million times since then and how it's not so special anymore. I appreciate the film and I can appreciate Edward Norton and Brad Pitt in it and how their acting careers have evolved so heavily since then (AHX and Fight Club for Norton to Birdman for Norton, and 12 Monkeys/Fight Club to Moneyball for Pitt). It's not the best movie I've ever seen and it's most likely overrated, but so are plenty of other great films.

I thought Fight Club aged like milk, but I did enjoy it back in the day. Glad you enjoyed it.
I saw Fight Club for the first time a few years ago and thought it was pretty shite. However, it's such a popular movie there's little chance you can see it without having been spoiled, so it makes it not have the impact it otherwise would.

It's an interesting twist. I don't think it was that bad. But I'm a completionist with DC animated so I probably would have watched it if the animation were completely weird.
im looking for a random movie suggestion with some gleefulness (in scheming or in pillaging or murder/killing)
eg. lord balish in game of thrones getting what he wants. or even arya killing people. (dont suggest leon ive seen it a lot lol. or dexter)
so far im downloading spartacus s1 and gladiator but not sure if ill like them
basically a gleeful killer or schemer . bonus points for evil lolis
except for eden lake. im never watching eden lake again. LOL. (they were all boys anyway werent they) checking out this list http://www.imdb.com/list/ls000971119/
haha im the one who was looking for that film and someone posted it and i watched it
interview with a vampire is another one ive seen literally 30 times (maybe i will watch it anyway)
isnt there like a historical / period drama film say like victorian where the bloke is a household family lord type but is also secretely involved in murder or rape of commonfolk? it would mmake a good movie imo there is that one ... Perfume Story of a Murderer which is pretty sick i could rewatch it. the soundtrack is incredible. but i always got bored after the first 20 mins (epic 20 mins tho)
OK, I just saw Frozen and Tangled and I loved it. Are there any similar movies? Kinda musical comedy mixed with a true fairytale? Don't care whether it's Disney, Pixar or I don't know. I am a little bit ignorant person when it comes to watching new movies(or series or anything connected to culture other than fantasy books), so everything from, hmm, lets say 2005 until today.
I usually skip "the boring" parts(that's the danger of watching the movie near your keyboard ) and both these movies were seen almost in their full length! Which makes them one of the best movies in years for me... and I want more
Thanks!
Edit> HA! I just realized I've never seen properly Shrek, gonna fill me some time :-)

these are both more on the killing than the pillaging trip, but: Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (2005) Manhunter (1986)

When it comes to disney, nothing beats Emperor's New Groove. Nothing (maybe Treasure Planet, but it's not so musical).
Just saw Ant-man.
The movie was crazy good. The beginning was rather slow, but they handled all the background and exposition in it so that later portion of the movie could be all just crazy action so I didn't mind. The acting was a bit wooden and some attempts at slapstick weren't top notch but I let it slide. Apart from those minor issues I must say that I've enjoyed this movie way more than the latest Avengers. It was awkward, it was fun, it had some great characters and awesome scenes, I laughed out loud in the cinema. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy some light-hearted entertainment in the era of grimdark movies.
