Just watched Zeitgeist.
While the documentary itself was painting a very grim picture of the world, whether it is true or not, I didn't like the way it was presented. It looked a lot like a propaganda video with all the footage if war, disasters etc. and the way they were edited together.
While I believe some of the things I would have like to have gone more indepth with some parts instead of trying to cram 3 different things into the movie.
Besides that a really interesting documentary that I would suggest to anyone with an open mind.
Any suggestions for similar stuff?

There's no point telling you to avoid it because if you're a Justice League fan you're likely going to watch it anyway just because you have to but it was seriously trash. They ruined Batman by making him seem sarcastic. Batman has always been sarcastic but serious sarcastic, not obvious grinning sarcastic. They also changed Wonder Woman's persona. She was also more playful. Everyone has a creative license though. In Flashpoint paradox she had a ruthless conqueror personality. It lightened the mood and the fights were amazing. The background didn't make much sense though. How does Superman not know who Batman is? How does GL not know that Batman is real? Because it's based on the new 52 and before they formally met each other and became the Justice League. Batman knew who was Superman was, even his secret identity but had no reason yet to go mess with him. Same for Superman to Batman and everyone just thought Batman was a myth. It was an awesome movie, it just had a different take on the DC Universe, hence it being based on the new 52 remake. "Leagues" above any animated movie made by Marvel.
Just watched it. I liked it. While the differences pointed out here are true, it didn't take away from the story itself. Just take the story for what it is and disregard earlier stories and versions and you'll like it. (This goes for most comics, animated or not)

Are Pacific Rim and Hannibal (2001) worth watching? Hannibal's score especially doesn't look as good on IMDB as Silence of the Lambs and I'm not sure if I want to ruin it

I really enjoyed Pacific Rim - its a bit corny, but enjoyable because its mecha. Hannibal I haven't watched.

Theres a couple intense scenes though. Pacific Rim is a solid action movie, just dont go for the story.

Gravity is so overrated. I imagine this flick would be so much better at the cineplex but aside of the viewing experience (visual and stuffs) it's definitely worse than, say, the like of Moon
7.3/10

Hannibal is passable. The only movies worth watching in this series are SotL and Red Dragon.

Hannibal was decent, Pacific Rim was garbage.

Not sure if it's quite what you what, but perhpas you'll like 'About Time' (saw that you liked cashback, which I liked, so maybe you'll like this too). ----- Latest movie I saw was Elysium starring Matt Damon. Honestly, I expected worse from what people were saying, but I found it quite enjoyable. Rewatched Face/Off and The Rock. Still great. Oh and rewatched all Beverly Hill's Cop movies, first was great, the others were good.
As someone mentioned earlier about Gravity, I think it's overrated. Besides special effects, I didn't find the story captivating nor the acting anything amazing. I expected more, perhaps something like Apollo 13, but was left dissapointed.

A bad overrated movie gets a 7.3/10 from you? Agree it was worse than Moon, that's simply an all-time favorite.

good but also forgettable

The first 40 minutes or so is good. Then it's pretty mediocre.

People say its too ambitious, but they said the same thing about the Red Dawn remake. And yeah shit Red Dragon is the decent one, not hannibal, or you know you could watch Kubricks Lolita for some good psychos. And whats with this hate recently towards Gravity? Is gravity the new Dark Knight Rises? "Yeah, pretty unrealistic 1/5 for me." Did u see that 15 minute no cut opening shot? I agree its not a new 2001 or The Core but its going to be a classic.

Watched Stroszek (1977) by Werner Herzog, a German movie, which tells us the story of an alcoholic man Bruno Stroszek who immigrates to America in search of a better life. Definitely an interesting movie, I don't know any other movies that are quite like it. The story is great as is the cinematography. It tended to feel too slow at some points, but overall it was great. 9/10

This weekend is saw: - Robocop (2013) Unnecessary remake of an already good movie. I liked the actors, but the movie itself wasn't that great. I rated it 4/10 on IMDB.
- 2 Guns Liked this movie a lot. Great humor by Mark Wahlberg. Movie had nice action, decent plot. I gave it a 7/10 on IMDB.
- Oldboy (2013) Great movie, and as i am an Elizabeth Olson fan, i was pleased to see nice scenes with her in it Loved the plot and acting. Gave it a 7/10 aswell.
