Nothing remotely interesting happens in this movie. Not even the fight scenes are interesting. Ninja fighting Wolverine with motorcycles? Then he somehow makes a truck blow up by sticking his claw in the top of it? Some random Yakuza guy fighting Wolverine on a train that's moving 200+ MPH? What is this? The villains are incredibly lame as well. We have Viper, who doesn't do anything for most of the movie, then when she finally has the chance to do something, she peels the skin off her head for no apparent reason, and then when she finally fights, she's suddenly terrible at using her poison and loses instantly to a girl with a staff. What's even the point of most of the movie? Wolverine is AT YOUR HOUSE half an hour in. You have a clan of ninja, the Yakuza, the police and powerful poisons that can easily immobilize him under your control. JUST CAPTURE HIM THEN. It's also not immediately clear when this movie even takes place. The third X-Men movie came out 8 years ago. I don't even remember most of what happened in it. Why doesn't it just say how long after the events of the third movie this takes place? Given how long it's been since the last movie, I wasn't even sure for a while if it's even supposed to be in the same universe. You're entitled to your opinion. Here's mine. Viper's lack of poison sucked and that scene with the peeling skin was dumb. I don't think the old guy ever controlled the Yakuza or Police. The Yakuza were hired by someone else. His plan was to become young and let everyone think the old him had died. Then he would go control his company with the help of his grand daughter. I thought the scenes with Jean Grey were unnecessary. It made it feel like they'd betrayed the comics by having wolverine kill phoenix and having so many characters die. The train scene fight was pretty cool. Imo they were the only cool fights. 6/10 is an accurate score. His son controlled the yakuza and police. Given that his son wanted to inherit the company, it wouldn't have been too hard to at least get the yakuza to help subdue Wolverine. Even without them, they have a bunch of ninja and access to poisons that can easily shut him down. Just makes no sense.

Many plot holes and amazing coincidences. Some good visuals though as expected. 6/10.

Ring ring - Hello? would give it a 7/10 for the last fight which was really amazing. But I really hope they get their shit together. so far only (some movies of) Iron Man and the Avengers were really good. The rest was more or less "average" but but pulled a lot of viewers for the latter. that said I really could see potential for the director if he gets his pacing together. I saw 12 angry men and holy shit that was a good one. the movie focuses on 12 jurymen who must decide wether a young puerto rican is guilty of stabbing his father or not. the first vote turns out to be 11-1 in favor of "guilty" but as the movie unfolds, facts are maybe less reliable than they first appeared. This is not only a tensely played intimate play but also a showcase what is wrong and right about the jury system. despite being quite old still a relevant movie. 9/10.

Felt fairly soulless compared to the novel which ranks amongst my favorite novels, the movie captured the colors and the imagery well, but lacked the meaning and purpose for employing such visuals. The director tried to turn the story relevant to the modern day with the soundtrack along with social commentary which was to resonate with people now, (e.g. the 99% movement) but the depiction felt weak. Acting ranges from well-done to subpar, and I was disappointed with Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway who I expected to sound cynical, exhausted and disgusted rather than talking as if nothing was wrong. It was worth the watch, but don't expect it to match the novel. 7/10

![]() Chosin - Documentary where it interviews soldiers who took part in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, a key battle during the Korean War. Mostly just interviews the soldiers and what they experience during the war, so there is less than the desired amount of information I would have liked to know. Also wasn't really cool to hear them refer to the Chinese and Koreans as gooks or chinks so often, but can't really blame them as everyone was kinda ignorant back then about Korea I think. One interesting thing I learned is that if you are a veteran of the Korean War, you can visit the country and tour it or something all expenses paid. Some sort of thank you from the Korean government for taking part in saving the country somewhat. + Show Spoiler + ![]() Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry - About a modern controversial Chinese artist whose views have clashed with his harsh government regarding free speech. I think one of the most poignant moments was when he shared a monument to the schoolchildren killed in the Sichuan earthquake in 2008. He claims that thousands of deaths were covered up by the government because the schools were not built up to basic standards. He showed a wall with thousands of backpacks, one for each of the dead children. I would say it was a good documentary and although it was somewhat shocking to hear what the Chinese government has done lately, I can't say I am surprised. + Show Spoiler + ![]() Thor: The Dark World - My sis offered to take me to see it this weekend so I figure why not, hard to turn down a free movie. Happy to say that I found it better than the first one even if it did have some of those cringe-worthy humor moments that feel so forced. Loki also really bothers me, can never really tell his motivations or why Thor keeps him around after all the shit he has done. I never read the comics so maybe it's explained there? + Show Spoiler + ![]() The Hunted - Just saw this on Netflix the other day so I decided to watch it. I remember the movie previews kinda looked interesting. Some guy is killing hunters off in the woods so they send in the guy who taught him. I was like "cool, maybe something like Rambo or they play a cat and mouse game in the woods trying to kill eachother off" but it's really nothing like that. + Show Spoiler + Once I saw him get captured so early on, I kinda figured the movie was going to shit. Not a fan of this one. + Show Spoiler + ![]() Demolition Man - Honestly found this to be trash and I don't why I watched it to completion lol. I have no idea why I had this movie on my computer. Needless to say, it got deleted after. + Show Spoiler + ![]() The Italian Job - I haven't seen many heist movies but this is probably one of the better ones out there. Didn't care much for Norton in this though. + Show Spoiler + ![]() Elysium - This wasn't bad. Blomkamp definitely has an interesting version of the future and I will keep an eye out for any more movies he makes. Enjoyed District 9 more though.

In more details, I particularly liked the first half of the movie. They decided to go at it as if it was a report/documentary on an incident using ship's cameras. While this is interesting for the whole exposition part and help give a feel of realism to the movie it was really annoying for me for the second part of the movie when they start to have problems, the director chose to switch from one camera to the next in rapid succession AND add on it flickering (due to the ship having problem) which made some passage feel just cheap (since most of what is happening ends up being not shown) and barely watchable for me. But where I have most issues with is that while the premise was good and is something we can relate to (Europa being a solid candidate for today space exploration after Mars), the story then became "just one of those" story. That felt like huge wasted potential for something truly original. I'd still recommend it anyway, decent sci-fi movies are too far in between.

Not shown by the camera choice (which usually film the inside crew rather than the outside... where the stuff happen) and the camera shutdowns/technical difficulties. As to what... every incident in the second half of the movie but the one in space. I get the why, I just feel it cheapens the experience. I mean its the same movie trick used for the horror genre.... which Europa Report also sadly borrows a lot from in the plot department.

6/10 + Show Spoiler + the movie humor is amazing .. this shit is so funny to be honest and it was okish since it fits to a standard american hero movie .. if you read the book then the entire movie is bullshit .. id still give it a pretty high score though since the scenes were pretty funny

![]() the internship 7/10, was pretty funny for the most part and wasn't too overly dramatic or anything during the "fall" for a comedy like most are now. Just a lighthearted film to watch on a boring night or something. The google hate for the film is pretty unwarranted considering I can't even remember anything google related they were talking about in the film, the jokes are pretty stand-alone.
