this movie is so amazing. it's kinda slow paced and has random buildups that aren't really scary, but the ending is plain genius

![]() This is it - tribute movie to Michael Jackson, i thought it was awesome but it's not much of a movie i guess. posted a review earlier in my blog. Drag me to hell - bad acting, bad plot, not scary, lots of 'gross' things happening which made me giggle.

Ahh I saw this one the other day in Sweedish with english subs. It was pretty good, though a very strange movie.

![]() Terrible Movie, couldn't finish the last 1/4 of it... ![]() Great movie, so sad that I havent heard of it until like 2 months ago. I've been living under a rock. ![]() Cringe worthy, I only saw like 30 minutes of it before I felt too nauseous to continue. It's like, eye-candy, but they're not subtle about it.

I also saw district 9 which was very good. Some unplausible scenarios happen but overall its not so detrimental to detract from the viewing experience. Moon and "I love you, man" are also very good. I recommend it

![]() I have absolutely no idea what to think about this film. I liked it as I watched it, but I have no idea what to think about the ending. Has anyone seen this and could provide me with answers?

+ Show Spoiler + The premise of the plot is that nero is raging at spock cus he failed in saving his planet. How does this make any sense? Spock tried to save the planet. The supernova was not something spock initiated. All he did was try to help out but he got there a bit late. Not like spock took detours or some shit which caused his failure, he says he was on the fastest ship and tried to get there asap. Now after he goes through the black hole, he goes on some rampage to destroy everything when he could simply warn his planet and help evacuate when the star goes supernova. Well he does say he wants his ppl to be free of the federation, but his nerd rage at the federation is almost as idiotic as his rage at spock. On the federation side, the scene with kirk as a kid was one of the dumbest things ive ever seen. REALLY? This kid has the balls to pull off taht move on the cliff? He somehow grabs onto nothing and pulls himself up? This hanging onto cliff nonsense happens 3 fucking time in this movie too. During the fight after the paraschute landing, and during the fight inside the mining ship. Speaking of the parashute scene, why did that one guy not open the parachute in time when the other 2 did so at the right time and they were yelling at him to do the same? Kirk meeting spock in that cave was pretty ridiculous, but i wont fret about it and just leave it up to bad writing. But the marooning of kirk on that planet in the first place, just doesnt make any sense. Why the hell would spock do that in that situation? Then kirk, comes back and makes spock rage and he just takes over command. No one has a problem with this i duno why. Now they go along with his dangerous plan to be a hero, instead of hopefully warning the federation for the incomming attack. But for this dangerous mission they send 2 fucking guys? One being the captain of the ship and the other being the former captain. What kinda ridiculous shit is that? Why not warp like 500 soldiers onto that ship? Then we have this stupid ass fight in which the badguy could have easily killed kirk but didnt for some reason. Now spock suceeds in dropping the whole fukin tank of red matter which could cause a singularity with just a drop, into the ship. This should probably cause of ginormous black hole that destroys everything close to it, but no it doesnt. The mining ship is intact for so long that the enterprise feels the need to shoot lasers at it even though those lasers do nothing and the ships gona get sucked in anyways. And obviously enterprise is in danger now when they could have just backed up a long time ago, and they get cracks in the hull and windshield (lol) which should probably destroy the ship due to pressure differences. Now they have to drop their cores or whatever and make a giant explosion yay. But even without the cores and all those cracks, the ships just fine. I dont really mind far fetched scientific ideas. Even the time travel paradoxes and stuff, I dont mind as long as they do a decent job of explaining it. But when everything that takes place jus goes against any rational thinking, it starts to bug me.

![]() It's a classic film by Guru Dutt. This is pre-digital editing, so a few of the music sequences end rather abruptly as do on-screen motions, but it's really high quality melodrama about a poet who must suffer the inhumanity of society to find true love. The music is excellent and if you ever get a chance to see this in 35mm, don't miss out.

The whole thing is just still shots with a narration over the top. And at the end it takes a bit to sink in what just happened but if you think about it for a bit it makes perfect sense. ive seen ti, its great 12 monkeys was based on it, another great time travel film I just saw 12 Monkeys a month ago and I really liked it. But I'm partial to anything done by Terry Gilliam. The main theme with the accordian gets kind of annoying... Recent movies I have scene are Zombieland and District 9. Both of which were overrated in my opinion. Zomieland was still good, don't get me wrong, just not amazing. I actually hated District 9, from the perspective of a science fiction fan it was incredibly stupid. The 'message' was good, but movies aren't only about proving a point.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0253586/ Decent overall, felt the camera was tilted a bit too often but otherwise no real issues. If anyone has seen it and has any thoughts on the ending I'd love to hear them.

+ Show Spoiler + Dark Knight - Pretty much as darkly humorous and well acted as I'd been told to expect. Teeth - VAGINA DENTATA IT'S REAL!!!! The overacting was brilliant. I spent the whole movie laughing. Some bits were slightly gross, but I can imagine it was much more painful viewing for men than for women. A million - pretty good, but some of the character development required substantial amounts of suspending ones' belief. Lee Min Ki is shaping up to be a decent actor though. Haeundae - Piled on the melodrama and killed off one of my favorite characters. However, it was worth seeing even if the ending felt slightly abrupt. Also attempting to believe a grandma and a little kid survived explosions, a falling boat, steel cables whipping about, falling off a collapsing bridge *and* falling containers....that was a bit much. Detectives in 40 minutes/4th Period Murder Mystery - I enjoyed this. Some of the characters reactions to the murder itself were pretty strange, but that added to the fun of it. The two leads were also quite likable. Kamen Rider Den-O/Decade: Battleship of Oni-somethingsomething - A total mess. Horrendously acted villains even for Kamen Rider. Shoddy CGI and Decade was only in it for about three minutes total. They need to stop milking Den-O and move on. Using a kid to play Nogami because they couldn't get Takeru Sato was also a total cop-out. They should just have focused upon the new rider. Brief cameo by Yuuto was welcomed, but far too short.
