I was expecting a lot more comedy in this Seth McFarlane movie. Instead it's a growing up and learning to be responsible and blahblah movie. A really big let down. There was very little laughter with everyone I saw it with too.

Some stuff was pretty realistic, but there's also some overusage of the documentary hand camera style in some scenes and some clearly visible hollywood set style at the same time. Acting was very good though and i liked the ending, rest was pretty meh imo.

I am offended this movie was even considered for any kind of award, much less an Oscar. The extent of this movie's "thought provoking" is pointing out that children can be raised to believe lamps are called + Show Spoiler + pussies vaginas People are praising it on IMDB for being "Sharp, political, satire." That should be a warning in and of itself. This movie only exists for people that want to feel like they are watching something edgy, simply for the sake of being edgy. I felt pandered to. Maybe it's the audience. Coming from a very, VERY sheltered background myself.....it was quite disturbing and hit me a little bit.

Everyone in the theater, including myself, laughed consistently so I guess it just appeals to certain people. I am a fan of his show, Family Guy, so I guess it just felt like watching a live action version of it with different characters.

I thought it was more like criminal thrillers? To the guy asking for movie, watch this: ![]() TRUST me, you WON'T regret it.

Ridley Scott created a wonderful vision with magnificent art direction, background, and casting... and ruined it with a terrible story and a poorly organized movie. Guy Pearce was also miscast. Nothing made sense, there was no immersion, and everything was just colossally dumb. My cheeks hurt after the movie from laughing so much. American Psycho - 8.5/10 This movie is an utter classic. Visually perfect, a great cast, and superb dialogue. Instantly made it into one of my top ten movies. Who knew it was a dark comedy? It's actually not a horror/thriller and is actually a satirical commentary on the Yuppie Movement of the 1980s. Just genius. Christian Bale is excellent. Jarhead - 6.5/10 I understand why everything in the movie was done in the way that it was done, but I ultimately didn't like it. That doesn't make it a bad movie; in fact it's very good at doing what it's intended to do. Basically, the movie is like a modern Born on the 4th of July but it takes place during the conflict as opposed to mostly after. There's a giant "netorare" streak in the movie, which makes you pity the soldiers even more, but that also makes your taste for the movie even worse. So I suppose in that regard it's very good. Casting is very fitting too. Welcome to the suck.

![]() Friend works at a movie theater, not gonna say which one because I'm fairly sure it's illegal. They got it yesterday morning, so at 2am last night we got to see it. 250/10, not a typo.

![]() So this was an ok movie. I guess it's predictable though. The main thing I didn't see + Show Spoiler + mom turns into a bear! Those ads on TV now make sense.

Just saw a mock documentary (or rockumentary ^.^) called Spinal Tap, very funny. 7/10
